I just rewatched the scene with the 6 on the plane going home. They all seemed drugged. I watched it with tivo going frame by frame they all seem spaced out big time. Eyes rolling around head swaying back and forth. Really out of it. Watch it.

I think the whole thing was staged with Oceanic Airlines behind it.

Yeah I agree the whole "rescue" was staged. I think however the 6 get off the Island, they are then taken to the decided "rescue point", and Oceanic makes sure someone is there taking pictures, validating the cover story.

I don't think they were drugged. I think they were just mentaly drained from whatever happened that we haven't seen yet. You would think Sun would be more upset though if Jin had died as would many of the remaining 6.
It will be interesting to find out why those were the 6 rescued if the others are still alive on the island.

I agree, I do not think they were drugged, but had just gone through a traumatic experience and are about to deal with the press, cover up, and being back home again.

Yes. They needed time to corroborate their story, get cleaned up, etc. as well as mentally deal with whatever catastrophic event happened on the island just before they left.

This would happen in any rescue attempt. Before you present survivors of a plane crash to the media you would ensure that you give them time to clean themselves up. In any situation like that, you don't just put people on a plane and shove them to the media immediately after rescue - it has likely been a few days since their rescue.

Could have been! Maybe they had to drink some of "Richard's Magic orange Juice". Remember Nathen told Julliette that the trip could be rough, draining, something like that.

I want to know how there just so happened to be a camera crew there when the O6 landed in their rubber boat.

The same way a camera was set up on the moon when Neil Armstrong got there.
