who put the c4 on the freighter anyway?
it couldnt be micahel because his goal is to SAVE the islanders... and blowing up thier only way out wouldn't be very smart...
and why would keamy do it? is he on a suicide mission and ready to take everyone down with him?
someone give me some insight please!
(oh and also could someone clear the air as to whether sun's maiden name is PAIK or PALK? People are saying it both ways and I'm confused.)

ok, 1st it's paik 99% sure about that.
2nd, the c4 is an "insurance" play for Keamy. If he dies, the boat explodes...I don't think he's on a kamikaze mission. a guy like Keamy isn't going to a gun fight with a knife. he's a boyscout-he will be prepared!

Ben...he gave Michael a fake bomb that said it wasn't time yet. He plans to blow them up to save the island. He always did.

I think Widmore put the C-4 on the freigher. This way if his freighter operation failed he could destroy it before it was used to bring the 815 survivors home.

Keamy set up the C4, that's why the remote activator was taped to his arm by Omar, that's my guess. That does presuppose that Widmore fully intended in the second protocol to arrange to pick up Keamy's team and Ben via alternate means, and the freighter was always expendable.

shouldn't he have done that already? if he is going to blow them up, what's he waiting on?
