Every season starts with a late sixties or early seventies pop song. What will it be? And are they clues?

Im hopin, but they tend to go for the obscure, so it may be a more less known song. I love the music in lost, and it is a cclue but isn't music so personal that it would only make sense to who wrote it

Probably someone like meatloaf perhaps?

if anything, it would be something more obscure then meatloaf. It could also be a more modern song considering there are flash forwards now. i heard a rumor that the season starts with hurley of the island, possibly flash forward, so im not sure what or if any music will start the season.

Also, there was only music in the season 2 and 3 premiere as far as premieres go...

Your right about that, I was thinking shambala was in the opener of season 3 but it was Downtown. And meatloaf was a reference towards streams quote.

I got a wierd feeling its that song WAR you know from Rush hour 2. HU HA what is it good for, ... hilarious I can just picture Hurley and Jin dancing to this song. You know they'd play it when the "Others" and the 815's join forces. I'm calling it. Either that or Missirlou, Live on Dick Dale, live on!

Dude, "The Viper's Dream" by The Royal Garden Trio. Absolutely surreal, works great.

I bet, it shows Hurley relaxing with some brand spankin' new headphones, just chilling to some soft tunes, like he did in S1.

Born to Be Wild was played in a preview of season 4 that I saw last night on ABC, also oddly enough the entire preview showed clips of locke, Ive got a feeling that he's really going to go off the deepend in this season, hes going to make a lot of enemies with the losties and it is going to be really hard to decide who are the "good guys" and the "bad Guys"

no, just at the start of the episode, not the theme song for the title/credits

I hope you get to spin the records up there, Charleeee....you always liked the oldies and classics and had one for every situation. I always knew what was coming because you and I were usually on the same wave length. I will never forget you, Charleeee.

Whatever the song is, I'm sure Damon Lindelof's mom cried to it while she was vacuuming.
