is it just me or did anyone else notice that jacob (rocking in the chair in the cabin) was JACK'S FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's been covered.

But I don't think Jack's father = Jacob.

I think Jack's father was there somehow, but the eye we saw was Jacob.

That's what everyone thought at first, but if you compare a picture of Locke next to the screen cap of the eye it's not even close. Even the eye color is different.
