So.. at the open of this episode Dan starts crying.. when he is asked why he says he "doesn't know"

Anyone remember that Anna-Lucia's boyfriend (probably the man who would have fathered her child) was named Danny.

It would explain why he "doesn't know why he's crying"
It could even (possibly) explain why he goes by a different name.

Very GOOD point, ya never know with this show but you could be on to something. Also, remember when Naomi is describing the chosen people for this "mission" to Matthew Abbadon, she's calls Dan a headcase so there may be more to him than we've found out yet.

Danny was Ana Lucia's partner from LAPD, thats why they were so close. And in that same scene, "Faraday" was called SAM buy that woman behind him and not DAN. A few others thought they heard the same thing, but I wasn't looking for it but I could've swarn she said SAM, I gotta look this up. It could be linked to find815.

Yah I thought that too and went back...she DEFINITELY calls him Dan, its obvious once you go back and listen :)
