As they are panning up to the plane in the opening scene there is a photograph of a woman and child (?) Who is in the picture?

Yah I did slow mo when I rewatched last night's episode and there a couple things in the water....my tv isn't the clearest thing so it was hard to make out what it was but so far I thought I saw a Dharma logo and a small box with something in it. I didn't see the picture you're talking about though...I'll have to go back and check it out :)

I saw it too. A picture in a wallet sitting on the last clump of rocks before they find the plane. I can't tell if it's something relevant to the story or not. Just can't get a clear enough replay on my cheap VCR.

Probably not though, cause later on, while Frank Lapidus is watching, he calls the airline to tell them that is not the pilot they think it is, so maybe that is not 815 in the ocean. Maybe that answers the question to about them landing in the Indian Ocean instead of the Pacific like I have seen in other threads, because the plane they found in the Indian Ocean is not 815 but another plane. I mean how do they know its 815??? Its no where on the plane. It just says Oceanic. Right????? IDK my thoughts.
