Time to start thinking on a bigger scale

Look, it's becoming more and more obvious that everyone on the island has been used and are just pawns, toys, guinea pigs, for someone else's big picture.

however, the losties were an accident and it needs covering up. Now, after lastnight episode (2nd in season 4) we know there are OTHER people REALLY LOOKING for the Losties, and for BEN! and they didn't know there were OTHERS! And the "lawyer" that visted Hurley, we know is not just any ordinary "lawyer" but he obviously is in charge of something that is much bigger than our beloved Losties.

Our Losties have fought tooth and nail to get off the island, and the "bigger picture" has got to stop them from leaving, or spreading what they know.

Everyone should start thinking about a bigger scheme, especially after the Darma artifact in Tunisia!!!! There has to be something MORE, either another Darma camp or, and I don't believe this one as much, successful time travel of YEARS! (they only moved the bunny 20 minutes!)

So try to wrap your head around what ELSE is out there, and what they are trying to do. Why is the Oceanic 6 so important and why do they feel bad for leaving, and why can't they tell anyone ( "sick of lieing")or go away from "him"???? Why are they after Ben, and what does Ben know and what has he done OFF OF THE ISLAND! I think the island has suddenly become a very small, but most critical part, of this storyline now.

Think about it! Think past the island, think OFF the island, think BIGGER!!!

Ok I'm just going to throw out what I've been thinking....I'm probably wrong haha so don't bite my head off :p

I think that we've already been presented with possibility of a time travel station (the Orchid Station) and that this station could possibly be hidden where the Swan Station is, you know where they had to push that stupid button. I find it interesting that when they let the button go, all the metal in the room started going straight to the center (this could explain the strong electromagnetism of that particular area) and not to mention where the fail safe key was. I think that the location of where that fail safe key was is the section on the island where the Casimir effect is the strongest. Remember (and correct me if I'm wrong) but its basically 2 strong forces pushing against each other and what is created between those 2 forces creates something like a wormhole or something (I'm in no way a physist by any means so haha this is hard to explain.)

I go on to say that isn't it interesting that this is the exact place where Desmond, after turning the key, "woke up" in what we thought was a flashback, yet he remembered everything about the island and his experiences. When I saw this I had just assumed it was a dream, but when I started thinking about it, Desmond may have fallen through this wormhole (or whatever it is) accidentally and went back in time. I have no explanation for how he got back or anything haha so I'm still quite confused, but when he returned (or woke up rather) he had no recollection of turning the key and he was naked (ow ow!) for some reason. As we all know, he has visions of the future as well.

As for the polar bear, I think it sort of has to do with what happened to Desmond. I mean we saw that the Dharma people were experimenting with rabbits, maybe they were also experimenting with larger animals such as polar bears?? I know its a stretch but perhaps it was an experiment gone wrong?

Now just to say one more thing, to agree with another post I had read about someone who said this exact thing...remember the Valenzetti equation (the numbers) well I believe its the equation for when the end of the world will occur (or something..like I said I'm just typing this from memory and I'm no scientist lol) so I think that maybe The Dharma Initative's purpose was trying to stop that from happening so if they discovered a time travel dimension they could possibly go back in time (or future) and try to correct things from happening so they could extend life longer. Now remember the woman Desmond spoke to kept reitterating that you can't alter the past or it could be catastrophic. I think that has a lot of importance.

All this to say, I have sooo much more that I'm thinking and I'm not going to bore you but my ultimate theory is that Ben KNOWS about this and is the ONLY one who knows other than possibly Richard or maybe the Losties which could be why the Purge happened. That's why in all the orientation videos they've cut out certain things which in my opinion could be anything that verbally referred to a time travel dimension so that no one would find out? This is why the Freighter ppl were recruited to get Ben so that they could find out what's been going on. The drops probably kept continuing because no one knew really about the Dharma people and Ben hid the fact of everything.

Also, my last little tid bit is that perhaps (if we go with this theory) when Jack and Hurley in the flashforwards refer to "going back" we naturally assume they are talking about going back to the island. Well that could be, but maaaaybe if we think outside the box, they're talking about going back in time? Remember Locke keeps saying "this isn't supposed to happen" so maybe they realize they need to change something? Ok I've written way too much and I doubt anyone will actually read this so I'll stop. Haha just my rambling 2 cents :p

No I know exactly what your saying and that confused me too. But then I thought about it, remember for some reason Desmond was ONE day off? Like they made a point to show that he was trying to predict stuff but then it all happened the next day, if that makes sense?

Haha like I said I start thinking I might know whats going on and there are so many things that ruin it haha. Man..my headache is back...:rolleyes:

So Richard looks the same today as 20 years ago because he traveled back in time to meet the young Ben and give him instructions to be carried out years later ?>

That's not exactly what the woman told Desmond. She told him he could do things that would change future events, but that none of them would affect what is bound to happen by fate. This relates to the Valenzetti equation in that the Darma Project learned that no matter what they did, they could not alter the fundamentals of the equation, and hence not prevent the end of the world.

As i was watching "Confirmd Dead" i was thinking... maybe the reason they are after ben, is that somehow, they found out that he made the decision to kill off the dahma people, and these " rescuers" are like either related to or In the same company as the Darma people!

Just an idea.

I think the island might be in the past, and the scenes we saw of the plane under water was the island submerged in water. But I do believe they planted the pilot there to cover thngs up. Not really sure how set I am on this theory, but was an idea I was thinking.
