After watching the last 10 min of LOSTY. I now have the full story and here are my thoughts. It seems we have a some what Mission imposable team that has come to the island.
1) Matthew Abaddon- Abaddon had some hand in the creation of the team that arrived on the island. He is seen explaining to Naomi her mission to transport the other team members onto the island, and to look after them. He explains that, despite her objections, every member of her team was chosen for a specific reason. When Naomi asks what she should do if they encounter survivors from Oceanic 815, Abaddon reiterates ominously that there were no survivors.
2)= Naomi Dorrit- Sometime in the past, Naomi was hired by Matthew Abaddon for a special operation to the island. Naomi was told to protect the team (Daniel, Miles, Charlotte, and Frank), but she doubted that she could, as they have no experience in the fields required for the mission. She belives that on the island may be survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, however he reassures her in a stern manner that there were no survivors. Abaddon believed that she was very well trained for the mission and encouraged her to take it, and she agrees to
3)Miles Straume- is a spiritualist who believes he can speak to the dead and removes spirits from locations for a fee.
4) Frank Lapidus- is an aircraft pilot claiming to have been originally scheduled to pilot Oceanic Airlines Flight 815. He later traveled to the Island as part of the freighter team.
5)Charlotte Staples Lewis- is an anthropologist, a member of Naomi's team, who parachuted onto the island .
6)Daniel Faraday is a character who first appeared at the beginning of Season 4. He parachuted onto the Island from a helicopter at low altitude, sent by the freighter. He states his profession as 'Physicist'.

My thoughts on the teams mission
It seems the teams main objective is to capture Ben. But why? These people I don'tthink wante dto hurt anyone. Ben just said that because he knew the people would come looking for him and he knows exactly why. So that is the reason he blocked all comucation with the island and jamed any satlights or maping tools from finding the island. So why do these people want Ben so bad? My hunch it's because of his crimes against the Dharma team who was organized by what ever Gov. organization Matthew Abaddon and his team are from. But is it that reason? The photo they showed of Ben it seems Ben was either spying on something outside the island or either stealing something that is very important to the Gov.

So it makes sense now why Matthew Abaddon wa sso egearly seeking out the Oceanic six. The plan orignaly wasn't to rescue them. But why would the Gov denie flight 815 from being rescued and why the fake crash site and cover up story? Is it because of where they crashed? Could it be the Gov knows the properties the island possess and they don't want anyone to know about it? If Dharma was a Gov. Orgnized orgnization then yes the Gov knows and had lost the location to the island thanks to Ben and now thanks to flight 815 they now know where it is and now can have access to it. Ben knows why these people denie them all rewscue as well as to why they want him so bad. Thanks to his spy the last member of the mystery member of Oceanic six. Who we all can pretty much guess who it is. That explains the name change. He took the idenity of someone. Hmmm Could it be Henrry Gale? :-) Could it be the real reason Henry Gale died was because he was a agent looking for Ben? And now the Mysterous SPy now assume sthe idenity? or it was riged by Ben that John Lathfield was part of this Gov. Organization but realy was a spy for Ben? :-)
