Who Does Christian Work For?

i was thinking about how christian has basically become Jacob and wondered if he is actually speaking on his behalf. I wonder if instead Widmore hired christian to die in sydney so that when his body was brought to the island maybe his ghost could battle it out for power over jacob.

Or maybe they are just trying to put a face to jacob and decided christian was the ideal choice.

...I also wonder if widmore has moved the island before, thus preventing him from returning.

I don't think he could have planned such a thing.

Plus, Abaddon seems like much more of a candidate. He doesn't seem to be on either side, but causes mayhem for both.

First he sends Locke to the island, whom will defend it. Then he sends Naomi to the island, a representetive of who will destroy it. Locke kills Naomi with a weapon that Richard had discouraged.

Abaddon mzy be some supernatural being who can decieve others by taking the shape of the dead. Let's not forget that the first time Jack saw Island Christian, he nearly got himself killed. And Shannon followed a vision of Walt to her death. Eko disagreed with Ghost Yemi and the smoke monster killed him. Now we've come full circle and Christian has told Michael goodbye just as the ship blew up and just so happened to kill everyone but the O6(and two others).

Not to say that this has any connection to Abaddon, but Widmore seems a lot less likely.
