Charlotte is going to be big!

Miles comment to Charlotte, "Why do you want to leave when you tried so hard to get back." Then, Charlotte says to Daniel, "Remeber I told I never knew where I was born." or " I have been searching for the place I was born." This is obviously hinting that she was born on the island. Which also means that the pregnency problem was not always around. So I believe that Charlotte is actually going to become an important character. I know some people dont really care for her, becasue she was kind of a waste of space this season, but I think we were only being warmed up!! I cant wait for 2009!!!

Oh, you mean Annie. Some people were saying that maybe Charlotte was Annie. That would be a big twist. But the age doesnt really match up. I guess it doesnt have to, now with all this time travelling and everything.

After seeing the close ups of the vault where the wheel is, I am going to agree with you! If she ever gets down there, she'll have a field day. Isn't she an archaeologist?

That's exactly what iv been thinking. Right when Miles said Why would you leave when you worked so hard to get back. I said she is Annie. Im starting to think that She was Annie at one point. Im not sure how she left the island. Im thinking what ever caused her to leave blocked out what she use to know. That when returning to the island it brought it all back or cracked open a memorie of what happend like when Libby made Clair remember what happend at the Staff station. Im thinking a high exposher to electromagtism messed withher memorie as it has Dan. Im thinking the Orchid some how played a role in her leaving the island. She didn't seem suprized to see that polar bear in the desert. She seemed kinda releaved. Like she was right about something in her thoughts.

I've never liked her, but because she seems to be Dan's romantic interest it wouldn't hurt for her to stay.

After learning of this news, however, I've come up with an idea. Perhaps Ben's girlfriend Annie was the first to die from giving birth. Her baby represented everything Ben did to Roger, so Ben decided to send her off in the submarine to wherever else. Of course he wouldn't recognise her now, and almost killed her in Confirmed Dead.

Here's a wacky theory: maybe her parents were on....get ready...the Black Rock. And it crashed on the island; she was born there, but somehow either was sent or brought to England through time travel as a young child. It could explain why she became an archaeologist; to search for her parents' remains and the place she was born. Could her parents be Adam and Eve in the Cave?

Bunny, Char would have to be a lot younger than she is to be Ben's daughter.
That had occurred to me as well til I realized the age thing. However, I still think Ben put those crackers in the box for Annie, and I've thought that all along. We'll see if anything comes of that...I know he had a life that has not yet been addressed...

So if you combine most of these possibilities into one, and add a bit more, is this what you get?

Charlotte is Ben and Annie's daughter (she could be about 20, which would allow the ages to line up). Annie became pregnant on the island and died giving birth. Charlotte was for some reason taken away from the island (perhaps Ben didn't know she survived). Ben went a bit crazy, blamed the Dharma, and hatched the plot that eventually led to the purge. Along the way, Ben again went a bit crazy, stole Alex from Rousseau, and began treating her like his daughter (or its possible she really is his daughter and Rousseau was lying). Also along the way, Ben became obsessed with figuring out the pregnancy issue on the island, leading to kidnapping of pregnant women and the eventual recruitment of Juliette. At some point in the remaining seasons, the issue is figured out, Ben hops back in time to pick up Annie and they travel back to before the Dharma to live out their days on the island. Thus, Ben and Annie are Adam and Eve.

2# annie was not red like her
3# she is to young
i wil say has something to do with henry gale and his wife cary her kid every were and ben killed both but not the girl and since he hade alex send her to england.

At first I thought it could be annie as well, but ben sure was awfully quick to shoot her, right. I would think if it were her he would know some how, maybe.
