Blinding White Light

This is the second time we have seen the blinding white light. The first time was when the clock in the hatch ran down to zero. Did the island move then too?

The purple light emitted during the fail safe event was probably purple b/c of the light spectrum. Think of a rainbow and how white light is bent thru a prism to make the different colors. Each color corresponds with a different element of light wavelength visible to the eye...
infared...
x ray...
radiation...
gamma rays...
radio waves...
ultraviolet waves...

So, the white light could be pure light? i'm not a scientist but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night...

I don't think the island moved when the hatch blew up, but I do believe it became "visible" again. Remember when that happened someone contacted Penny and said they found it. Then Desmond turned the key to, I guess, turn it off so it would not be seen again, but it was too late. It was visible long enough for Penny and her Dad to find it. Well Penny didn't acutally find the island but was in the area.

Yes I agree w/BensBaby. I do remember that. I had not thought of it until you said that about turning the key. So the island was invisible. Hmmm that is a thought, it could be that where every it is right now it is invisible to the human eye. I am going to watch those episodes again to get a refresher until the new season.
