I was watching The Other Woman again and a commercial for a motor of a vacuum sweeper was on and they talked about the motor that Faraday made. Here is a something I found.

Not sure I understand your point. I thought it was already common knowledge that Farrday was a real phsyicist in the 1800's. There are many character names that parallel real names and there are similarities in the character to the real person.
Hermann Minkowski was a real live German mathamatician also from the turn of the century and the communications officer on the freighter. I have posted at length about who Richard Alpert really is also. He was closely associated with Timothy Leary and the electric koolaide acid tests in the sixties and other psychodelic phenomenon. There are so many.

I am not trying to make a point, I was just saying what I found. Of course there are parallels in this show. I of course know that. I was just showing a site. That is why I put it in the General Discussion to discuss it that is all.
