With Hurley saying "Checkmate Mr. Ecko".... Do you think there is a possibility that Ecko returns to the island next season? He was my fav. character and was soooo mad when they killed him off....


****QUESTION****This was from last season or the season before, I can't recall...

But I believe it was Sawyer and Kate were swimming.... They dove down and they seen a plane and recovered some items from there... Whose plan was it? It wasn't Ecko's brother because his was still up on the hill and fell down onto the ground..

Who's plan was that?

It was a piece of Oceanic Flight 815. Kate swam down to get the marshall's briefcase.

As for Ecko coming back, don't count on it. I think it was more to show that Hurley is seeing all the people who died on the island, and to signify the "black and white" theme which has been running throughout the show. I think it was black that checkmated white showing that evil was winning the battle against good.
