Which Team Did Desmond Join?

Can someone please tell me which team desmond went with? I probably missed something and thought he went with Locke, But I'm not sure. Thanks.

he stayed with Jacks team I think. But he seems to have disapeared from view along with people like Sun and Jin for the time being.

Thanks for your thought B-Bod. I'm not sure if they revealed the full team rosters either. I just assumed Desmond would have gone along with Charlie and Claire and we all know what happens to assumptions on this show.

I didn't notice what team he went with but I'd assume it'd be Johns! It'd be very strange if he went with Jack!

Im pretty sure he went with Locke, but it wasn't made clear exactly, we never know maybe he's with the Richard Alpert and the others.

I just think Des has important work to do and I'm dying to find out which way he went. He maybe be creating his own team for all we know. If he went with Locke, he didn't look happy about it

You wish he was your dad? I have heard crazy things like, i wish i was married to Kate, but this is the first i hear of someone wishing someone was their father. In that case i wish Jack was my father, you know why? cuz he's a surgeon which means he's got tons of cash, even though he's driving around a bronco at the end of season 3 lol.

I don't think he is with Jack's group because he knows the so called rescuers lied about being from Penny's boat. He will hide out until the dust settles and see if he can get himself one of those phones to call Penny.

Seems Des chose to side with Jack. I wounder why? He's the first to see Charlie's message. I guess he feels Jack has been the leader. He hasn't lead them wrong yet. Why not trust him. I suspect that Desmond will choose to be a loner durring the mid of the season if not earlyer. I don't think he will be at peace with Charlie's message for a while and try to find anwsers on his own.

i agree with archangel's post. i'm checking out the newest episode at the moment, and there's some pretty good shots of locke's group near the beginning. we see locke, sawyer, hurley, ben, claire and her child, roussou and her daughter, and her daughter's boyfriend, with a spattering of extras.

as desmond has been a key figure and probably wouldn't be hidden in the back with the extras, we can safely assume he hasn't gone with locke. he sure doesn't play a key role in the new episode, though. let's see some mo' premonitions, des! where's the booze when you need it?

Maybe i was just hopin' des would go with Locke, because that's the team I prob would go with, but I trust Des's instincts and prob the guy, along with charlie and Hurley, who i would hang with. I'm with the golf, beer, and scotch team

This was something I was wondering about during "The Beginning of the End" and I never saw him move when they were picking sides so even though I would've thought he would go with Locke after Charlie's warning, I had to assume he went with Jack since he stayed put during that scene...

I think he wholeheartedly trusts and believes Charlie but I think he wants to get to the bottom of all of this, after all, Naomi did have his picture and did ask for him when she originally parachuted in...so I think that his curiosity is getting the best of him and he wants to go with Jack to meet the freighter people to find out how they got information about him... and he is also one of the people who has something he really wants to go back to in the outside world...

another reason for him wanting to leave is that he knows he has already done "the greatest thing he will ever do" by pushing the button (and possibly turning the fail-safe key) as the woman from the jewelry store told him, so he must believe that he has played out that part of his life and now can focus on getting back to Penny

Great points pac, and I could see how the whole pic that naomi had and love for Penny could override his loyalty for Charlie so to speak.

Sorry to be the person do disagree, but I think that the whole Desmond seeing the future thing and at least understanding the emotional consequences of such would point him towards Locke's camp, especially with Hurley's little speech. But who knows, he might be off on his own:)

Well, remember, he doesn't truly see the future completely but rather has flashes of coming events which he can change if he so desires but as he was told by the woman in the jewelery store, there is a force at work which will act to course correct and he tells this to Charlie and because he tells Charlie that he must die, he winds up keeping himself from being able to talk to Penny when Charlie gets in touch with her but in doing so he allows the universe or fate or whatever to continue on the path that it had showed him... By going with Locke he would assume he had no chance to find out who the freighter people are and why they knew of him and his girlfriend, but if he goes with Jack he at least has a chance to confront these people that have pretended to be seeking him on behalf of his girlfriend and i think he is a man who wants answers to explain what has been happening to him for the past 3+ years and I think that far outweighs whatever these emotional consequences are that you speak of :)

I think his love for Penny overides his loyalty to Charlie. Pluss Charlie didn't write that message on his hand for nothing. If Desmond remained on the island. Then Charlie would have wasted his time writing that note to him and he would have disgraced him and he would have died in vien. So if these people arn't with Penny. What threat do they pose to Penny's life outside the island? I belive along the lines of thoese thoughts run threw Des' mind right now. So he joins Jack. But doese he stay. From the looks of the two previous Flash Fwds. It seems Des stays behind. Then again it's only been two Fwds right now. Proven Flash Fwds should i saw.
