I have been thinking about the just ended season of 'Lost'. The best theory I've developed to explain part of what we've seen so far is that Richard Alpert is actually Howard Hughes. He is the one person that I would believe capable of creating a concussion in the time space macrocosm such as we have seen in 'Lost' so far.

i'm not sure if howard hughes would be inserted into the show but interesting reading anyway. some ppl have sugested that emelia earhardt has something to do with the bodies in the cave so who knows,anything is possible

Richard Alpert is,,,,Richard Alpert, AKA Ram Dass, the New Age Philosopher, just like John Locke and Jeremy Bentham are real philosophers that actually existed, same with Richard Alpert.
