Covert Operation!!

The lawyer Matthew Abadon is with Widmore Industries who has done work for Dharma. Remember that hot air ballon (Henry Gale; I suspect he was part of the first covert operation sent to the island)was a Widmore ballon. The pregnancy test Sun took was a Widmore pregnancy test. Now he has assemblyed a real team because he was told to. Plus, lawyers usally don't arrange covert operations so we know he's not really who he says he is. This explains why Naomi has the picture of Desmond. My real question is why are they looking for Ben? Why do they want him? Is it because of the purge or something else? And who's the guy Ben has on the boat? These are just some questions that maybe some of you could try to elaborate on.

Mikhail was with Charlie after Naomi and the freighter people left port. I would think the spy would have had to have been on board prior to that or he would be too obviously out of place on board.

Wow!! I guess we have'nt been watching the same show. Desmond left the hatch because the computer got broken. Remember, he ran out into the jungle. Well, he came back because he said he was out at sea just going in circles. I think Michael and Walt are doing the same. What do you think?

The producers have already confirmed that at least Michael will be back on the show this season, so yes we will see him very soon. The last we really saw them (not counting the time when Locke saw Walt) they were together, so it might be safe to assume that Walt will be back too???

Yes he gave them Coordinates and It was a gas powered boat so i really think its only ment to meet the freightor....plus your never know if Ben told Michael something about the island or brainwashed him that has him in the works with Ben or even he told him something bout Walt that now has them working together....anything is possible right now with the whole Michael situation...Im very curious to see how they get reworked back into the show...I can see Michael posing (well not really) as a survior looking for rescue to the freightor and then being with them definetly

When Ben says they are bad and will kill all living person on the island raised the most questions for about everything. I think ben has all the info about the island and dharma and he is really trying to save alot more than his own ass. I think he is truly concerned that harm could come to Alex and some of the losties. I think he pissed at Jack for not blindly believing him, but I dont' think he wants him to die.

Richard is supposedly leading the rest of the Others to the temple...but i've been thinking he could be on the freighter simply because he is the slickest of all of the people that Ben has at his disposal and I think he would be able to most easily blend in and gather whatever information Ben wanted... on the other hand i could see it being Michael if that was the boat that picked him and Walt up after they sailed off in that little boat that Ben gave them (perhaps Walt uses some of his powers to coerce the people on the boat to accept Michael?)...I could also see it being Mikhail since he seems to have nine lives and was last seen underwater using the grenade to kill Charlie...perhaps he found his way to the freighter directly after this? let's not forget that he was the one that Ben enlisted to get full profiles of everyone when Ben visited Mikhail at the Flame....I would say those are the top 3 candidates and a fourth would be a character we haven't seen yet which is just as likely... and just to round out the top 5 i could see it being someone who we have seen in someone's flashbacks but that has not yet been to the island... any thoughts?

Also, Widmore/Hanso/Paik/Oceanic are all connected. I think it's Paik (Paik Heavy Industries? with connections to Jin's Father) that own the medical freighter.

I was just talking about a similar thing last night with someone! Widmore is definitely connected, I think.. But I think that Penny and her father have two different connections.. Penny had those guys in the snow looking for something.. The ELECTRO-MAGNETIC ANOMOLY! So, I feel like she HAS to know something about the island, and even knows that Desmond got stranded there (maybe because of her father's connections to Dharma- I think he father might have caused him to get stranded). Because, if she was looking for Des, why would she be randomly looking for a place with electro-magnetic features, and one that was "invisible"? She wouldn't! She has to know about the island, but she just doesn't know where it is yet. At least not until those guys found something and she made contact with Charlie. Maybe she'll have something to do with rescuing the Oceanic 6!

This may sound really crazy, but I think that Richard is the smoke monster.

When Ben was 13 and first met Richard, he looked grubby, but he looked exactly the same age as he did when he helped Ben purge the Dharma crowd. He looked the same when he went to the mainland.

I understand the theories about time displacement, but even Richard would have to age somewhat.

As for Richard and the original others. I believe they are the crew from the Black Rock suffering their own brand of purgatory on the island. Jacob is the Ship's captain, also stuck in limbo pergatory. They follow Ben, because Jacob only talks to Ben or Ben has control over him.

The lady that gives Desmond the boat is Libby.. the girl who was on the island (from the tail section) and also was in the same institution that Hurley was in. I don't think she has anything to do with Sawyer.
