OK, people keep saying that certain theories have officially been debunked by the producers or others officially part of the show.
Can we list these so I can stop going off in the wrong direction?
Starting with
It is not Locke under anesthesia for Jack to operate on his spine and dreaming like Wizard of Oz, creating back stories for people he sees in the hopspital or TV etc.
It is not Charlie hallucinating
What else is officially NOT going on?

one of the most frustrating things to me is that the writers have even said that there isn't really a theory, and that all of us take it all way too seriously. i don't want to buy that and i really don't but i just always have it in the back of my mind. seriously, i lose sleep over this show so they better have a plan

I know what you are saying, I hope it doesn't end leaving up to our own interpretation etc.
I guess all that Wizard of Oz stuff was to throw us off the trail. Any of the possible dream/hallucination ideas sure added up easily.

well the thing with the wizard of oz stuff i've always felt just doesn't relate. we are so used to new stuff that turns out just to be copied, so its almost impossible for us (i know for me) to believe that something could just be 100% original. i can't wrap my mind around something like that because i always have to know!
i guess what i'm saying is that we see something that has a detail in common with something else and then automatically attribute everything involving that detail to the other larger, more well known idea.

lol no i didn't know! i guess different words have different meanings to everyone.
but yea, i will admit totally to being a nerd and i over analyze everything. it just dawned on me though that i can't handle not knowing, i guess none of us can't, so at times we grasp for straws ya know?
