COUNTRY! -you know, the kind that has a major airport, condos with jacuzzi's, big parking lots, freeways with carpool lanes, highway patrol who actually believe me when I tell them I'm on my way to a hospital emergency, an early morning Starbucks with soft jazz in the background, an Ikea, Ann Taylor Loft, Macy's, Saks, and Nordstroms. Yes, definitely country!!!
Hm... I've lived in cities my whole life, yet I enjoy spending time in the country. Somedays I think I'd be happiest living in the middle of nowhere, other days I want to live in a larger city than I'm in now. I like bluegrass, which is definitely country, and I like rock, which is definitely city.
So you figure it out. I can't. :D

I've lived in the suburbs most of my life, but I love the country, especially at the lake. But I'm pretty adaptable to either, I could even live on a deserted Island in the pacific after a plane crash. ;)

City, I like tall buildings (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/41/Key_tower.jpg) and women in power suits (http://fashiontribes.typepad.com/main/images/tidbit_dg_chalk_stripe_suit.jpg). I don’t care much for yard work (http://blog.mlive.com/citpat/2008/04/large_JL_YardWork3-web.jpg), and I have never owned a tractor (http://www.deere.com).

I'm a country guy I love the open air. no neighbors to anger or to be angry at. no lights to annoy the stars and its just peaceful. but I have to live in an area of at least a small city. I would go crazy if I couldn't go to a bar play some pool and just relax around other people. plus cities have so much history and its as though they are alive.
so I'm a little both

I'm still country. I don't have too much of a country accent, but I'm related to country folk, country folk are my friends and I'm pretty much in my element here. I'm also a beach bum at heart.

I'm a city girl! I live close to the city, and I work in the city every day so I'm used to walking around the shops on my lunchbreak, so if I was torn away from that I'd go mad! But I do love the country too! I just need my shopping!

Seein how I have a 300 acre farm, raising black angus and chickens for eggs I guess that puts me in the country girl area. I also can honestly say I own my own mountain. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Spent time (13yrs.) living between York city and Harrisburg and it didn't impress me one damn bit!!!!

I grew up in the country, moved to a large city, and now I am back in the country. It comes down to about 50/50 for my lifetime. There are definitely advantages to both.
While I lived in the country I never had to call 911. I lost track of the number of times I called while living in the city. One time I actually hit re-dial to call for a separate incident. My car was stolen, broken into, the neighbors were assaulted, and a drive-by shooting to name a few.
In the city, however, there is always something to do. The place did not close down at sundown. There are a lot more, better paying jobs also.
In the country everyone watches out for their neighbor, perhaps a little too much. You have no secrets in the country. But that also leads to the reduced crime rate. Give and take.
I guess ideally I would work in a suburb and live about 15 to 25 miles out, just beyond the suburbs. It would be the best of both worlds.

I'm just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit! So I can take the midnight train going anywhere.
But really, I'm more of a suburb person. I like being close the big cities but I don't want to actually live there. I like the country, but only to get away for a while, not to permanently stay. I've lived in the country before and it's just not the same for me.
