I don't think they were real people at all I think they are people they made up Like wax figures or something. How else are they going to show the passangers that are clearly not dead.

true, however the pilot got killed by the monster in one of the first episodes in series 1 because the front of the plane was in the jungle. So why would the other pilot be under water?

Are you suggesting that the plane passed through a "time window" of some sort and became two planes ? One of the planes split into three pieces and landed on the island. The other remained intact and landed on a different day and time, resulting it landing thousands of miles away due to the earths rotation.

im not sure. when the camera was under the ocean and found parts of the plane. Was there any description on the plane that said it was an oceanic flight?

it did say oceanic on the side of the plane but am sure the pilot is a plant of somekind.

I'm sure it's a totla plant,But I've sure about alot of things and proven wrong. It sure looked like Frank the pilot new it was a fake and they made it seem like he would know. I thought when he dropped the model in the fish tank, that was the the clue the writers gave. That the plane was lowered into the ocean and did not crash. A real 777 would not be able to make a smooth enough entry into the ocean without breaking up alot more. this I'm very confident about.

i agree with you about the water thing - the force of the water on impact would cause the plane serious damage. and if broken into 3 pieces as shown in the news report, i doubt it waould all land like someone has taken a giant knif and cut it into 3 pieces - it would be all over the place.

yeah...robo i thought the same about that scene....i think maybe it is possible that the people on flight 815 were cloned and put under water...don't laugh...if u have seen the clips of the orchid....a station in season 4....there is a possible cloning and time travel aspect to that station (bunny 15) it is all a setup anyway so that everyone will give up and stop looking....but...how will there be the oceanic 6....oh man....sounds like im smoking something now....doesn't it???sorry you all

watching that scene again has made me realise that the plane under the water is not flight 815 because the whole of the plane is under water where as flight 815 broke apart in mid air.

I think they would have to be real people. Whoever planted the plane would not take a risk like filling the plane with fake people. As was discussed in another thread, the plane was put there for one of two reasons - to convince people the plane was found or to draw out people with some kind of connection to the flight.

What really jumped out at me, though, is that after impacting the water and falling all the way to the sea floor, the pilot looks like he is in the same position he would have been just prior to hitting the water. He looked too perfect.

if he was buckled in his seat he may have stayed in the same position but i doubt his hands would be the way they were - they surely would have gone up to cover his face etc...rather than continue to hold the controls. but that may well be for viewing purposes so we could see the lack of wedding ring.

I still think it was staged. That would explain why the four visitors were not surprised that there were survivors. They were more excited by the presense of someone not on the plane...Juliette.

I think it was a plant for sure, but that maybe the camera man effed up and showed too much or maybe those who planted it were so arrogant they didn't think anyone would catch it. Or maybe they knew the few people who would (Dan, Frank, and Charlotte). Maybe the Polar bear bones in Tunisia was also a plant to get Charlotte on board?

Remember when the plane broke apart and Ben sent people to look for it? Well, when they panned out it should the smoke trail of the front landing on the Island and the tail landing on the other side of the Mt.. So how did it also land in the water with both parts next to each other?

I think it was a plant. I kinda got that feeling from the find 815 game. icky! the one thing that's making me nervous about all of this and the 6 thing, is I'm afraid that the end may be really dark and sad. I don't want that. except for like 3 characters, I really like these people. hopefully people like rose and maybe locke get to stay behind b/c they want to.
