Hurley, the cabin, and the face!

I don't know if this has great significance, but I’ve determined that the face the flashes in the window while Hurley in looking in to the cabin (first episode of this season) it is in fact, Locke.

When looking at this picture you can clearly see that the wrinkles on the side of his eye match in both pictures. The eye color also matches. I may be wrong, but I doubt it :D

I first thought it was Locke when I saw it. And the wrinkles around the eyes are an exact match. But the eye colour is different. I still think Jacob is a totally different person, but the whole thing of Jack's dad being in the chair has thrown me!

i first thought that too but the fact that locke seems so surprised that hurley has seen the cabin makes me think otherwise!

also...i think that there is some dark hair around the face (looks like it anyway)....i wonder if it is jacob (because we know that christian is in the chair unless it is jacob that has taken his appearance)...oh heck...we are all loosing it aren't we:(

Call me crazy, but it looks a little like hurley to me. The nose is def not Lockes, maybe Des. Maybe hurley freaked not only because he saw a face in a cabin, in the middle of the nite, in the middle of the jungle , but also because hwe saw his face. Maybe that's why Locke is seriously interested. Maybe Hurle has the power now.

God, I think it really does look a bit like Hurley! It's funny how something can look like a lot of different people!
Personally I'm dying to see more of Desmond's story this season. I wonder will he still have his precognition, cos it seemed to only be with Charlie that he could see death coming. And I wonder will Desmond maybe be able to see Jacob since he has such power already?

Their eye brows look similar, but the curvature of the nose is drastically different.

Could also be the lighting, close up, and angle. I'm not absolute in my mind it is Hurley, but He immediately came to mind, then Des for some reason.

Desmond came to my mind too just cos of the eye colour but I dismissed it almost immediately. But looking at the comparison with Hurely it looks like a big possibility it's him! Imagine seeing yourself looking back at you? HAHA I just don't know now anymore!

I don't think it's Hurley, and the 'wrinkles' next to Locke's eye are more like scars, and on Jacob's, they're actual crow's feet.

I think that the eye has a slant to it. I might be wrong and the skin tone is kinda dark. I don't think it matched up to Lockes ( Maybe the lines next to the eye only) They got Lokes father to the island somehow why not Jin's? I mean he ( Jin) Don't know Son went and saw him? I don't know how to pull up pictures like everyone else if you can that would be great I mean come on the showed us that Son went and saw him for a reason!

Assuming a piece of the broken window is masking most of the nose and take a deep stare at the photo above left. I still say a real good chance it's Hurley, but could it also be Ben? He likes to visit the cabin alot too.

wow i didn't even notice that! my tv was too dark. thats really weird that jack's dad is on the island. does anyone remember when locke's dad showed up on the island? (prior to swayer killing him of course) how did he get there!?

one thing i thought was when Jack found his father's coffin on the island it was empty. This was never explained and it was strange because the coffin was completely empty, (his clothes and some bodily remains should have been in there if he decomposed or was eaten by animals) its almost as if his body just got up and walked away...

end of season 3 chococat...talahasee man...i believe....he is in the "box" that ben keeps referring to ....locke didn't think there was a box...anyway...lockes dad said that he was driving on the road one minute and the next he woke up on the island ("a little too hot for heaven don't u think")

I think this was a few threads up, but whoever said the face in the window of the cabin could change to be anyone - remember Ecko's little bro? Well, ecko gave his confession to him, but it was actually smokey. Maybe smokey chills in the cabin!
Also, found it hard to believe it took three days for topics to pop up about when hurley announced that the cabin was 'over there'. Locke and Ben looked confused, shocked, but locke looked like he had a slight grin.

Were Ben and Locke confused, or sorta shocked that someone else may now know. Iwas reluctant to agree with the notion that smokie can change appearances, but it would explain alot.

one thing i thought was when Jack found his father's coffin on the island it was empty. when jack was trying to get his fathers body thru customs the airline wouldnt let him. jack was all upset so i think they removed the body w/o telling jack just to please him.. to make him believe he's got his dads body, they sent the empty coffin on the plane.

win win situation

until the plane goes down and jack realized the caskets empty.
