They have played some patsy kline and we all know that she died in a plane crash.....that downtown song by petula clark is from the 60's...maybe they are wanting us to look at the era of the 1950's/60's for some reason.....whatcha guys think??

I think it's meant to show us how long Dharma has been there. Didn't Ben arrive there as a lad cica 1970. It could have dbl meaning, it's lost. I think we're close in age, because I'm not so sure if our younger losters even heard of Patsy or Petula. Both good songs too.

wow i was thinking this last night as i lay in bed - about the songs they use. i think they chose downtown as juliet cannot go there - harsh!
my fave music moment was the opening of season 2 ep 1 - when they played mama cass. i love it when they play music in tv and movies that isnt really fitting with the scene and this was that exactly.

LOL You're right about Juliet always keeping her knees close together. She could really use a good nite out.

I thought Hurley drivin the van down the mountian and playing the road to Shambala was pretty cool.

That's one of my favourite episodes!!! I just love it!
I think it's really hilarious when Sawyer is teaching Jin the three things you need to say to a woman, and Jin is just slouching there, beer in hand, repeating after Sawyer, it's so funny!

HAHA I think they should have more of Sawyer and Jin, it just comes together so well! And when Hurley and Charlie get the van under control and drive away you just feel so happy for them, it's such a feel good episode!

I love the general music throughout each show - like in 'Confirmed dead' when Jack's gang were running towards Vincent, the piano was so good!
