We were rewatching some old episodes this weekend and i realized in this episode when sawyer is hurt from the raft incident and is in the hatch....he tries to strangle kate and says to her in some wierd voice..."you killed me"...it was kate's dad wade who she killed....she even realized it....whats up with this..a dead spirit talking thru sawyer

I just replayed a week ago too, This is why I can't let go of the nexus to the afterlife theory. It's like they are all poltergeists.

oh - will ahve to go back and watch again - am sure at the time, i just assumed it was kates guilt playing on her but now with the beauty of hindsight....

Yes I remember that scene,lots of charactors have had similar experiences. It is like the island needs them to see these things to work out their personal demons.EXAMPLES:
1.Sawyer and the Boar which he saw as a reminder of the man he mistakenly killed
2.Sayid and the messed up cat that looked just like the one that belonged to the woman he tourtured yrs.ago.
3.Jack seeing and chasing his dad down.
4.Hurley seeing Dave from the nut house.
Pretty sure there are more just tired of typing.What do you all think?

Maybe there was something going on between Kate and her step dad. As awful as that thought is, it would help to explain Kate's fury and the way she killed him. Like burn in hell for what you did to me! She was a victim for sure because she really hated the guy.Sometimes the abused are brainwashed by their captors until a time comes when they break away from the abuse. That time came when he abused her mother.Sawyer became a conduit for the dead stepdad. When she killed her step-D, she definitely underestimated her mother's gratitude. Obviously the mom didin't know about the abuse or chose to turn a blind eye to it. Some women will sacrifice their children to hang on to a man.Leave their kids with a person, who turns out to be a child abuser,etc. Psychics say that some people don't know they're dead and they keep hanging around creeping out people until you tell them to go to the other side.

remember the "experiment" that guy did by phoning the boat? his watch and the timer were off by so many minutes. I'm thinking there is a complex type of time travel going on, also, Ben is back home and has Sayid working for him. Is this too wierd even for lost?
