I believe I'll have some one else do it. I can, though. We have pig roasts alot around here. My best friend has the best filling recipe. Her and her hubby used to do roasts all the time for people and of course I ended up helping in one way or another! LOL

LOL No offense, Lindy, but the only thing I can think of that's worse than wild boar is wild boar with FILLING! lol
Maybe we can just have some of those peppers and tomatoes!

You haven't lived till you tasted that filling. There's apples, sausage, potatoes and bread and all sorts of good stuff sewn into that hog. Maybe it's a Pa. thing LOL! Have you ever had *beer can up the butt (or bum depending on where you are from HAHA) chicken??

Take a half can of beer, I like to use 16oz can, take the tab off, puch a few extra holes in the top. Add any of your favorite seasoning to the beer. Set your chicken down over the beer can. I always rub my seasonings on the chicken. I set in the grill and shut the lid (turn grill on low) and just let that baby cook till it's nice and crispy. Time varies on grills and if you've cooked chicken befor you know when it's done. I see if I can't find a picture of one. We make them all the time when the gangs all here. I can fit 5 on my grill at once. It's the best chicken you ever ate!!:)http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Beer-Butt-Chicken/Detail.aspx

We cooked a whole pig in a hole in the ground once. It was great! We dug a hole and started a fire, threw in some big rocks that would soak up heat. Then we wrapped the pig in foil (cost almost as much as the pig) threw the pig in, covered the hole and let it cook for about 18 hrs. It was good but I'll stick to buying roasts at the grocery store. They invented ovens for a reason.

No ham when you roast a pig. Ham has to be cured and smoked. (and it takes a really big pipe *doing Groucho Marx impression*)
