What's the best adviced you have recieved?

1 Go ahead and marry the man - we'll still love you:p

2 Don't criticize a person til you've walked a mile in their shoes.
(that way, when you do criticize them, you'll be a mile away AND you'll have
their shoes)

3 Go with your gut

4 If at first you don't succeed, it was probably too hard anyway

5 Don't drink that 15 yr old bottle of Pepsi

6 Diversify your 401K

Never count on any one but yourself. If someone else does come through for you it's a bonus.

Best advice was from my friend who told me not to reveal too much about yourself to people, particularly in work. Now unfortunately, I find it extremely hard to take that advice on board, but I know that she's right. If you stay quiet, and don't give your opinion about anything, and don't let them know you're a bit craaaazy, and generally stay quite mysterious, you stay a lot safer and people can't attack your weak points as easily.

seriously, the next time you eat at a burger joint, try to take a few FF's off someone's plate. Watch their face. IT IS FREAKIN HILARIOUS!
