I've also heard that the show is ending in December. Supposedly they will do 2 extra shows after that to wrap up the series, but that's purely speculation.

Its hard to say. I would like to see Michael and Sarah survive this and live their lives, and I would like to see Linc re-unite with his son, but I have a feeling one of the brothers is going to die. I also think Alex is going to die. William Fitchner (the actor who plays Alex) was signed to a different show, so its probably only a matter of time until he is gone.

Yeah, but I like Alex a lot...so they have to keep him alive, right?:)
I was sad to see Brad go.
I just want them all to have a happy ending - except T-bag. He's def initely a favorite to watch just to see what he's going to do or say next! He's just GOTTA go out with some extraordinary blast or be stranded forever in some God-forsaken place or forced to join Jehovah's Witnessess or something!LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

It was odd. Everyone hated brad for there own reasons. He was a bona-fid coward for the entire series until his final episode. It was just unfitting for the character arc IMO. They seemed to care a bit too much for a guy who had stabbed them all in the back atleast once.

That IS true... but so did most of the others at once time or other except for the brothers. I just knew something fishy was up the second (was it Michael?) touched his arm and said, "Just come back."
Well, Brad was still trying to turn into a more decent person, I think. He was showing more concern lately.
Alex is interesting the way he's evolved. That poor guy was stuck between a rock and a hard place being forced to choose between his son or Linc's, you know... so, again, I ask rhetorically, what would do you if it were your son?

I would just like to say, I think this story with Michael and his tumor (or whatever it is) is pretty lame. It's about as good as the storyline in Lost where Jack had appendicitis. And then in the last episode they actually had Michael walk across the bridge they made when they know he's having trouble - pretty silly.

Otherwise, this season has been pretty enjoyable - much better than last season, in my opinion.

I agree with that. If this turns out to be the last season, and they decide to kill off Michael, it would be a pretty handy way to do it though. I also think it was written in as a way to keep Sarah more involved, other than her and Michael's relationship.

I think it would be rather pointless to have Michael go through 4 yrs of torment only to die from a brain tumor in the end...
One other thought, is it just me or does anyone else feel like there is just no chemistry between those two, Michael and Sarah? To me, everything that transpires between them just sort of lands flat.

I loved series 1 & 3. I liked series 2.

Series 4 has been pretty dreadful in my opinion, though it's still a very entertaining show.

I like Prison Break best when it's dark, calculated and claustrophobic, like in the first and third seasons. I'm not as keen when it turns into an OTT action flick, or like an episode of the A-Team on speed.

How many more episodes are left of this season?

Boy, for people who love PB, we sure are cutting it down, aren't we?:p
It's still a marvelous show, but yes, I agree with you Jon.

I can certainly do without Bitchin' Gretchen and that creepy pasty-faced old man who runs SILLA.

Although I agree with you about the dark, calculated and claustrophobic aura of the "better" seasons, I do like how the writers, just like in LOST, take you to a completely different setting for a period. It can be almost like they've begun a new tv show, it can be so different.

And, also like LOST, it's fascinating, albeit maddening, when they switch alliances at every twist.
But I maintain that one of the best has to be Alex, who, hell bent on getting each and evry one of them for so long, has now proven to be one of the best allies they could have. And one final note, I wish they'd have brought in Michael Rappaport sooner; that guy's just awesome!

Yeah Mahone is an awesome character, he's been one of my favourites since season 2... and I really like the character of 'the general', the guy who's running Scylla.

I remember he had a really strange gimmick in season 2 where he wouldn't say anything and wrote everything down in a notepad...lol... that was odd.

Another problem I have with the show is that it's almost like the writers start something and can't wait to resolve it asap... like Mahone vs Wyatt for example. I was expecting that to be a really intense, long running psychological game of cat and mouse between the two of them but he's already gotten his revenge and the whole thing just felt like a bit of an anti climax

In some cases he tries to act tough but it doesn't come off that way. Like when he went to bust in on T-Bag and Gretchin and found himself in a trap. He just looked weak throughout the whole sequence.

Absolutely. His character lacks that edginess to really pull that off. This latest "twist" was not actually a twist at all, and in my opinion, has doomed the show more than it's already been.

And I'm sorry, but four people who are fighting for their freedom, one of whom was a former FBI guy and one an engineer, don't think to open the envelop that was supposed to contain papers that set them free right away? They let it sit on the table for an hour before looking at it? Come on...

I KNEW I'd end up eating my words, EMS! HA! But I still think he's the best actor for the part despite how sorely disappointed I was that the writers took that twist. MAAAN!!!

And ORT, I agree it was weird none of them checked the envelope on the spot.

That smidgon % part of me that doubted him was 1) his name... I mean, come on, what kind of name is Don SELF? (in it for himself?) That's as crazy a name as Bea Klugh... and 2) He was just a little too gooey nice and "obliging" to the Fox River 8. But I will concede to having been utterly fooled, convinced by his sudden bursts of toughness that he was the good guy in this.

Shame on you, Don Self! Shame shame we know your name!:mad:

I know that this thread is old but I thought I'd go and find it instead of starting a new one.

How great was it seeing Charles Westmorlane on Monday;I thought it was great. How they incorporated DB Cooper into the show was great. And one of the things I hope that they do at the end of this show, is have Micheal find Westmorlane's daughter and get her set up for her medical bills. (If she's still alive) This was Micheals promise to Charles, and hopefully they don't let it go forgotten.

Yeah, Self has definitely made a 180 in his character. And I was happy to see Mahone get away; I thought for sure when he made the choice to get in that car he had given up. Does anyone know how many episodes are left this season? It's got to be getting close.

Not sure. Speculation has been that the season was "ending" with the latest episode and they were going to make two more episodes to wrap up the show and end it - but I can't say for sure now because it seems they've taken the show in yet another direction, and it seems to me they have no plans to cancel it so soon.

But with Sucre seemingly gone (why didn't he get a better send off?) and I'm not sure how much we'll see of Mahone now either - I don't know how much longer the show can last.

Next Monday is the fall finale. I'm pretty sure they have more episodes written and filmed. I'm assuming the network will decide how they want to handle the show during its break. If this will be the last season, I'd like to see the show get a full second half to wrap everything up.

I don't really get why people seem to be turning away from PrisonBreak lately. One of my good friends (who got me into PrisonBreak) has stopped watching this season too. He said that the shows have gotten to far fetched, and that he only liked seasons one and three; because they dealt with them in prison. Everyone knew from the first season that the show was going to get this way. You knew that it was going to start involving taking down the Company and dealing with government. This season is a bit far fetched, but so was the first one that everybody loves so much.
So i guess my question is what is it that's making people turn away from it? Do you think it's gotten too far fetched? Did your favourite character die? Were you pissed off at how season 3 was cut short? Are you disapointed with the pot belly Wentworth had sprouted?:)

Thanks, and Happy Holidays to everyone

Hi, Unbridled! Uhh... let me see...
I think they are trying to wrap it all up and they're just getting a bit sloppy.
(Hope they don't do it with LOST!)
I loved how the characters evolved, however, especially Alex.
Very disappointing how they bumped off Brad after all this tiiiiiiime!
Some surprises with newbie Rapapport (Don Self) that I didn't like. BOOOO!!
But right now I am really not liking the split between brothers and why NOW bring Mama into it? Sheesh...
And will someone PULL-EEESE put a bullet in psycho chick Gretchen's head before I do it myself?!?!?!
Was a little disappointed at cutting short Season 3... but I did like the "Cryin" song at the finale...was pensive...had it been in English, that is...
And Wentworth has a pot?? I never noticed because I never really eye them up or down. I don't think of any of them that way.
