have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. And since we like lists, I'll start:

I am very thankful to be lucky enough to put a simple Thanksgiving Day dinner on my family table. I am making an effort to help those who cannot in these difficult times. I would ask that if any of you are able to help those that need it, please do so. Anything from a bag of rice to a turkey. Everything helps when you have nothing. I hope that none of you are suffering in this economic mess and if you are, that you are able to find a good hearted person to lend a helping hand. These times are overwhelming and I am glad to have our wonderful show Lost to loose myself in and forget my troubles.

I have so many it would be hard to list hem all, here's a few.
I made it to 55 and I'm still healthy.
I have a clean, comfortable and pleasant home to live in.
I have a good job.
I have sisters, nephews, nieces and good friends who I love and they love me.
I live in a great part of the world. (USA and So. La.)
I found this place and made some real friends.

I'm thankful that God has looked after me more closely than I have looked after myself, that He has given me opportunity to love unconditionally, and that He smiled on my prayer when my sons were born to please let them have 10 toes and there not to be a war. And for the sons who ARE over there, that we might have new hope in a new administration that they will soon come home and enjoy their future Thanksgivings here with their families.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I am thankful for my family for always being there when I need them.
I am thankful for having a job in these crazy times and a roof over my head
Having friends who make you laugh when you are down, who are there even in the worst of times. I am thankful for having a place to come to every day and be myself to people I have never met but will always know as friends.

I wish we had thanksgiving over here!
I'm thankful that I was off work today! :)
But other than that, I'm generally just very thankful to be alive and healthy and for having the opportunity to make a tiny difference in my world and for seeing these opportunities.
Damn now I want turkey!
