View Full Version : ok...confused after watching "promo #2"

I watched another LOST promo on youtube, apparently one shown at the emmy's. It says WITH NEW ALLIES and Widmore's face flashes on. then NEW ENEMIES and of course Abaddon's face flashes.

Are they hinting that Chucky Widmore is a new ally?

Also I was thinking, I heard that they were going to give some answers to Claire's story arc. Emile is not going to be in S5. Does that mean not as main cast or is she gonna have some sp. guest slot in an ep or two? I know its been done on the show before with flashbacks, but with the new "methods" of storytelling how can they advance a character's storyline without that actor(ess)?

I have to check out the video, thanks. As far as advancing the storyline, I think that since TPTB said they weren't using flashbacks or flashforward in season 5, they will use the perspective of "the other side" where the whispers are. So far they've used the present, the past and the future. It only makes sense to use this other dimension next and since the whispers talk backwards and seem to be a bunch of dead people it would be pretty interesting storytelling! I don't know how they would do it without the actor/actress though. Maybe like you say, just an epi or two at a time.

Maybe it's suppose to mean that Sun and Widmore are now working together.

Oops, sorry. By the way, what is AT2? A family friend is a FC...fire controlman, that is.

yeah i know alot of FCs. an AT is an Avionics Electronics Technician

I think Ben has probably told Sun that Widmore was responsible for Jin's death, thus Sun is getting 'close' to Widmore so that she can get her revenge.

yes, so if she blames her father then maybe she knows he put them both on flight 815. is her father DI ,dont worry i think everyone is DI at the moment
