This has less to do about Arnst, as it has to do with the losties. I found it a little unsettling that when Arnst blew himself up it was like Oh well, who cares, a piece of Arnst is on your back -haha. I know they are in pure suvival mode, but how about some sympathy! I would think there would be alot more kinship and comradery having been put in such a hard situation. I would think in a similar situation we would try to at laest have somesort of ceremony for the guy once the crisis has passed. It's almost like if your not part of the A-team, who cares, your worthless. What happened to survive together die alone. The guy was trying to help. It seemed the tailsection losties had more team spirit.
Just a thought while reviewing past epis this past weekend.

thats quite true but perhaps thats why they made such a big fuss over nikki and paulos deaths!!
and if you see the webisodes - arszt has a big chunk in one of them aswell so he was borderline clique i would say. kate cries when libby dies and she barely knew her - no more than they really know this guy...but hey its TV land.

Yah I agree, but didn't they have a funeral type thing for him too? I thought he did...and I remember Hurley being pretty shook up about it.

That was such a tense episode, watching them handle the dynamite for the first time had me on the edge of my seat! I personally would have done anything but touch dynamite, it would scare the hell out of me! They did handle his death quite coldly, especially since back then they hadn't seen quite as much death as they have a couple of seasons on!
