Nothing about fringe in the bad robot section?

Any other Lost fans watching this show?

Its ok imo, It just doesnt seem to have a direction at the moment, I know Lost started slow, but the first episode made me care what happened, and Fringe hasn't hooked me like that yet.

fringe is returning to tv here, picking up with episode 4, apparently in one of the episodes there is an airline ticket bearing the name Oceanic Airlines

I like it. Although each episode seems to have only a minoir 'problem' for it's duration, I think that this is going somewhere, what with her dead boyfriend and the Dharma-esque Massive Dynamics. And I wonder if the 'other Walter' from St. Claire's will return, or perhaps it's something I just didn't get.

*spoilers*

And that last episode seems to be definetly going somewhere, with Olivia being kidnapped, but maybe it's just that the whole issue is just long enough to take up two episodes.

*end spoilers*

I hope Lost gets this kind of fewer commercials treatment, but I doubt it will happen.

I'm really enjoying this show even though it doesn't drive you as mad with the need to know about everything... Though it is only season one so I guess it could get nuttier and nuttier.

Really looking forward to Lost starting up though...

My favorite episode so far is the one called "The Arrival" and Walter is a very good character.

Love this show, it definitely has helped quell my dismay since X-Files was canceled.

Yes Anna Torv is a babe. Abbadon is great in this show as well.

Fringe is quickly becoming my fav show.

I am a Fringe freak lol. I am loving the story line, I keep trying to look for connections, learning quickly from Lost you have to look at everything. I always look at the images they show you when they go to commercial break looking for a connection. Maybe I am just as crazy as Walter  Walter is a damn funny and genius character.

I for one love this show some epi's are good some great but overall this is one of the best new shows and better have a good 5 or more season run.

Walter is my fav too. I am starting to like Olivia more and more now.

Anybody here watch Eleventh Hour with Rufus Sewell? Sort of the same premise, a brilliant doc with an FBI partner solving weird mysteries. Check it out! CBS thursdays at 10pm PST!!!

I really was liking Fringe before it went on that long break, but what the heck happened to the storyline? It seems like they have abandoned the whole pattern idea and the guy that they used the time travel device to get him out of that prison.

The last couple episodes seem Nikki and Paulo esque.

I like Fringe but see it as an X-File knock-off. It seems to have a direction but it's a slow build which I don't have a problem with. I liked the episode when Olivia got kidknapped as several elements from previous episodes came into play. Very well done. I hope there will be more moments like that.
I noticed J.J. Abrams has a hand in both Lost and Fringe AND the new Trek movie. Since he does a great job with the shows I think the movie will be outstanding and hopefully revive the franchise. Hate to say it but Rick Berman kinda ruined Trek. He left out the most important element and that's the crew's ability to get physical. Not all problems can be solved with brain power! Also, the quick fix endings were wearing thin i.e. danger! danger! danger! Captain's log- stardate 40583.2- everything's fine now. We solved the problem this way. Ta-da! Boring! [or should I say- boaring! snort snort]

Exactly!! Where's the pattern? where's that Bio-Science building mystery lady that always has a hand in things? Where's her brain dead partner? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I will always watch until the wheels fall off!

hehe , yeah i was watching the last episode and I was thinking, I bet the just keep writing these memory machine scene's in so she has to take her clothes off.

It was a god one though, and the previews made this weeks episode look like it will be a good one too.

btw, was she able to react with John in her memories even though Walter said she shouldn't be able to because he is hooked up to that machine in massive dynamic?

Niiiice! I didn't think of Olivia's ability to interact with John because he was in Massive Dynamics.
So what is up with Walter and the typewriter? Are they suggesting that he or one of his former partners wrote the manuscript? And what is the real side effect of transporting if it's not death?!?!?!

I was thinking that same thing about the typewriter. Maybe Walter {who is hysterical!!} was the one that wrote that book.

No my impression was that Olivia's memories of john were being erased because she was going in the tub too much regardless of where he was. John's memories since the first tub scene were temporarily meshed with hers but were fading. Walter suggested she not go in because her memories might all be erased that very time! Hope that makes sense!:)

He definitely wrote the book. I think Jones was sucked into the other world the book was referring to.

I have been playing catch up on my dvr and I've caught a couple of references to the Lost show, particularly the plane ticket. I'm just now realizing we have to look at everything with this show now too.

I adore Walter in this show.

I love this show almost as much as lost. the storylines are killer. what the hell is up with this super long break though? did i miss something? was that the end of ssn 1 already?

I totally thought Abbadon was going to be connected to lost, but no dice. I like how the "observer" has been in almost every episode since the episode that focussed on him. usually just a quick flash of him walking by right before the incidents happen.

great show

great show

I think the long break is due the show's production. I'm guessing that the show got picked up for more episodes than originally scheduled for so they had to make more episodes. So the season is kinda split into 2 parts, kinda like lost was last season because of the strike delaying production.

great show

Three things: 1)A shortened season 1 due to writers strike fallout
2) The network wasn't sure ot was going to pick Fringe up for a season two 3)The production has moved to Vancouver, so there's that reason too.

Season 2 starts next wed...just marked the calendar.

Walter definetly is currently carrying the entire show. I think they need to kill off Walters son....hes a distraction.
