It took me a few seconds to recognize Kate too. Sun looks like she is in charge. Anyone else find it odd that Penny is not in the picture?

What really makes this picture kinda weird is no Jin and no Claire.

Great picture! I found some interesting things. Not all the stuff is from the Swan. Look closely and you'll see the box of DI saltine crackers laying on the floor. You know, the 15 year old crackers that Hurley ate! I would say that's a big clue right there.
I also find it interesting that with all their technological knowedge and special effects that they make that background outside of the window so phoney looking. I think it is on purpose also. Has anyone else also noticed that those things that look like water towers on top of the buildings really aren't? If you look real close they are thatched huts made of old wooden boards. Kind of like the ones the Others had in their fake village where they had Michael prisioner for a while. And, by the way, there are eight of them! I'm also trying to figure out what the twisted piece of metal is by Ben's foot. Any ideas?

We don't necessarily know that about Jin. We have been led to believe that. As for Sun and her wedding ring; didn't they go to painstaking efforts to show she had no wedding ring on? I mean, both of her hands seem to be in an awkward position just to show you her fingers on both hands! LOL!!!

Anyhow, of course the writers arent going to allow for Jin and Claire to be in the shot. That would answer the one of the top questions being asked right now... Are they really dead?

I don't know if he survived or not. I'm rooting for him. I just reread an article on SKY1. It was an interview with TPTB and they said that in season 5 you won't know where you are or when you are! No flashbacks. I knew I heard it somewhere. So, if they're playing with spacetime dimension, they can do whatever the heck they want! LOL! I am just betting on two things. The first is that when the wheel turned it moved the island in spacetime to around the DI timeframe. Only now, there are different people there. If you died on the island I bet you are alive once again until it is your turn to go. Maybe Nikki and Paulo will return! LOL! The second thing is that they will be telling some of the story from the perspective of the whispers. I have also read that they refered to the zombies in season 5. I thought they were kidding and just trying to make people like us more nuts. But, it kind of makes sense in a way if they do some storytelling from the whisper perspective. You know, the undead and all! Hence, zombies. Well, truest things are said in jest!

If it doesn't work just type it in. Read the article from comic-con 08 to refresh your memories! They also said that during the Purple Sky Event, or as I call it by it's real scientific name, the Ultraviolet Catastrophy, something absolutely did happen to the island. Check it out. They also said that Richard is crazy old and we will see him barefoot this season! I'll be counting those toes. They said that you don't age the same on the island. My bet is that when you are hurtling through space at light speed, no you don't. I don't think the island is an island. I've posted this before.

No, that picture is completely arranged and Sun not wearing her wedding ring means something. Her hands are definitely angled intentionally to see it clear as day.

I think in the upcoming storyline Des and Pen get married because there is a baby. So no, they wouldn't want to give it away. If you see his hand with no ring it would be a lie I guess.
I never said the background looks crappy. I think it looks fake on purpose. If you look close at those "water towers" on the roofs you'll see that's not what they are at all. They are like those huts in the fake Others village that they took Michael to when they had Walt. And, of course there are exactly eight of them. Now, that's a clue. They seem to be mixing the old with the new in that facade. Maybe that's what they are trying to say.

From what I seen, he was right in the middle of the Boat when it went BOOM! So I'm guessing he didn't jump away.

I think that we should think he's dead, hence the gravestone and Sun talking about him being dead. But my opinion is that this is what we should think, not what it's really is. ;)

But I believe he jumped off the boat before the explosion.

When the island vanished, was Daniel near enough to vanish with it?
Or was he too far away? It's not that clear in the episode.

Cause if he would have been too far away, he might could have picked up Jin then, in case he survived the explosion.
But then it might be a problem for him to get back to the island.
Unless the island re-appeared in the same place as before, just a couple of hours later.
But then it wouldn't be possible that the island went back in time.
Unless it brought the "old time" back to the "new time".
But that would be too crazy I guess.

Jin is some Aquaman, or Costner from Waterworld type of creature. Let's look at some facts.
-First Season- the raft is blown up and Jin is seperated from Sawyer and Micheal. Some how he wound up on the beach unconcious but not drowned
-Fourth Season- Jin is in a boat explosion (even though he wasnt on the back of the boat where he was when it exploded) and makes it back to the island 5 miles away.
-Heritage- Jin is the son of a fisherman
I think this all clearly leads to Jin being some type of "Merman". JK

I loved her episode in S4, cuz in S3 I took her for very straight forward and goodyish. S5 showed her naughty kinky side so i was like YES! SHE IS SO HOT!
