im sorry to be bringin up season 3 but i just watched an episode on SciFi tonight and i had to see the next.......in this one sawyer is locked in the cage thinkin he has a pace maker of some sort that if his heart rate goes up he could die.....anyway in this episode at the end when sawyer and ben are walkin up the hill so ben can show him something sawyer says something about mice and men and ben looks at him with a blank stare so sawyer says what u dont read? ben does not reply ....then they get to the top and ben shows sawyer the other island???? the main island that he has come to love where he crashed......okay so if there are two island where was the second island in season 4 when the main one disapeard???? they were not connected but close enough to see if it were left behind.. so were they connected to eachother in that if one goes the other goes ????????? now after sawyer all that ben starts rambling on to sawyer and sawyer says what are u talkin about ???? ben replys what u dont read thats from mice and men.........now when ben said this i got the feeling in his words that what sawyer had said on the way up the hill about mice and men was not in mice and men??? i dont know it just seemed weird like maybe sawyer has no ****in clue what he is sayin ??? maybe just pretendin he is reading all the time ????????

Hi there, newbie alert! :)

I think that it must've moved with the main island. If they are able to travel to and from it without an exact bearing (Kate, Sawyer and Carl came back on a boat) then it must be part of the same laws.

That's what I was thinking too.

Good point, maybe it is Connected to the Main Island, but you can't see that unless your looking at it from above.

When the island moved I believe it took a certain radius with it. Say, for instance, the island has it's own atmosphere, then everything within that atmosphere would move with it - including the second island, Daniel Farraday on his raft, etc.

It is quite possible that we are not supposed to have noticed this a mistake by the show. But I like to think that they have covered there story line from every angle for all of us who do question these kind of things.

It went with the main island, too. They were only 1 or 2 miles apart. They may be connected, especially if the island isn't really an island at all!!! LOL!!!

Or one of the Others could have moved that 2nd Island when they travelled back to the main Island!
