View Full Version : Least Fav. Lost Moment

Since the favourite moment thread is dying down , I thought I'd ask you guys what your least favourite moment was. I'm finding that it's taking me alot more thought to come up with this one.

The death of Tom is up there for me. I was so happy when he was one of the ones that survived the tent bombings; then Sawyer had to go and shoot him. Hopefully he's one of the Others that has returned.

least fav, huh?? well, it would have to be when ANY of our Losties die, of course. Even from way back in Season 1 when we were first getting to know the depths of our Losties, I cried like a baby at Boone's funeral...but I have to say, probably the most touching was losing Charlie, especially the way he died, to save everyone else. **sniffle sniffle**

I found it quite weird how they just show Nikki/Paolo for like 3 Episodes.

You mean parts that were upsetting or parts that just plain suck? I find Bernard/Rose time to be the most b-o-r-i-n-g. That's time to check the fridge for a bev.
Now it was upsetting to see my namesake, and dark hero, Mikhail bite the dust. But did he really? Will a young Patchy emerge this season? Will we get a Mikhail-centric-back-story-episode showing how he lost his eye while fighting for the French Foreign Legion? Did a polar bear scratch out his eye? I can't wait, start the season now!!!!

I don't think Mikhail actually died from the Grenade he had Diving Gear on. And if Desmond Escaped so did Mikhail!

Agreed, Eko and Yemi was one of the best things goin. Sure there was circumstances around the end of the story, but it sure was left hanging.

-Anything with Nikki and Paulo.

-Locke punching Charlie.

-Most of Kate's flashbacks.

-When Sawyer killed Tom.

-Most of Glass Ballerina.

Hmm probably some of the moments where Shannon was constantly whining at Boone - that was quite annoying.

I dissliked the part where Locke hit charly, but the part I hate most is when locke went from "don't tell me what I can't do" to taking control of charlys life and making the choices for him. IE. taking the drugs from charly.
don't get me wrong I think that any-one who abuses drugs has sealed his fate, but shouldn't we leave that choice to the individual, the same way he did in the first season?

Jack's appendicitis was one of the worst things ever. The real killer to it was that we already knew Jack was going to get off the island - so it really served no purpose nor kept me in suspense.

Charlie's death - I liked his character and he only appears once in all of Season 4.

#1) I went ballistic when Sawyer threw the diamonds into Nikki and Paulo's grave. They're to valuable, even without a 7-11 on the corner. I actually am one of the few who enjoyed the nikki and paulo tangent.

#2) Charlie's pee-nut buttah in an invisible jar con

And why did Jack get appendicitis on the island where Rose's cancer was cured and Locke was able to walk again?

I am guessing it was "destiny's" effort (Smokie? Jacob?) to keep him from his determination to leave. He adamently refused to listen to Ben and this may have been one last ditch effort to keep him from changing the course of things.

I bet you're right. It just made me remember that when John wasn't doing what 'the island' wanted he started having trouble walking again.

Kate's courtroom scenes in season 4 were the worst moments imo, I just felt no empathy for her character at all.

My least favorite death was Mr Eko, I really wish he had been able to stay on the show. I really liked John and his interactions with each other, and I wanted to see more of his character's evolution from the drug runner he used to be.

Hahaha.....Great pic.

I liked the Nikki and Paulo story too. Although I was pissed that we didnt advance the story any.
I was sad when Shannon died. I didnt like her at first, but after seeing her story and learning why she was so screwed up, I began to feel sorry for her. I cant say her dying was one of the worst lost moments though, because its these moments that make the show so great. It was just one of the sadest.
The worst moment on my list has to be the appendicitis story. As pointed out by others, it was pointless and not at all suspensefull or even interesting.

I didn't have a problem either with the Nikki/Paulo thing, I actually thought it was cool going back and seeing different views of things that had happened. My biggest complaint was having to listen to Paulo mumble through all of his lines. And him walking around with his nicotine gum, and the diamonds down his pants is one of the stupidest things I've seen. Nikki I could handle (for obvious reasons), but Paulo got what he deserved.

I'd have to say the worst part was when we saw Locke in the coffin for 3 seconds than the season was over...i swear i didnt sleep that night i was so confused and mad my favorite character by far was dead. Than i got to thinking is Locke really dead? I dont think so i believe he
1) Purposely killed himself so that like we are going to see because of his death the ocenanic 6 return to the island, than intern the island will Resurrect john maybe even more all knowing/ powerful.
2) Purposely got bit by the medusla spiders, got paralyzed and played dead to convince the 06 to come back.
3) Locke (Jeremy benthum) came to LA to kill himself (Locke in LA), Locke on the island is still alive, just his other dimensional self is dead....

ANY THOUGHTS?!

My least favorite moment of Lost is the second the final show of the season is done! Boo-hoo.

Reading through the thread, this is the first post that is absolutely quotable!

- - - - - - - - - -
Okay, I finished reading through, and I noticed a few to add to what I was originally thinking to post:

1. Sorry, but that whole Kate -- courtroom stuff was definitely the most boring moment in the show. And it seemed really poorly done as well.

2. Really, #1 is the only part that didn't like because it just seemed awfull in how it was done. If I had to pick a 2nd, I guess I'd go with John's beating on Charlie... a bit overdone.

Okay, the rest are things that I just didn't like to see happen:

1. Definitely, the end of Eko. Disappointing to lose such a character.

2. I hated Michael for what he did to Ana Lucia and Libby. It was upsetting.

3. The first time seeing Locke in that coffin. Yes, I've kind of been liking his character less, but he's still a major part of the show.

4. Not so much Tom's death, but the fact that "Sawyer" killed him. It seemed like a backwards step for Sawyer.

5. John throwing the knife in Naomi's back. He alienated almost everyone and it served no purpose.

Oh, and as for Nikki and Paolo, I didn't have any problem with them, and I still think that the brief focus on them, and their deaths, was meant to serve some significant purpose for the show... "medusa spiders", anyone.

It was pretty silly that she would be exonerated from all the charges. I could have bought the murder charges being dropped there is such a thing as justifiable homicide. But I've never heard of justifiable bank robbery. It seemed like they just didn't want to spend a lot of time comming up with a more plausible solution.
