LOST Season 4 DVD Possible Spoiler/Slip up on Commentary??

So i was listening to the Commentary on No Place Like Home pt2, and at 36:30-ish to 37 minutes, they are discussing who has bluer eyes, between charlotte and lepidus, and make a comment that they couldn't make it into a contest on the show because Lepidus isn't on the island, and charlotte is in the year 1114!!!!!! Could this be a huge spoiler that this is where the island traveled to???? Anyone else have an opinion on it????

No no guys, Ok ill try to explain myself better. The idea is that when ben moved the island that it moved in Time as well as space. The idea is that the island is in the year 1114, moving 890 years in the past. Obviously not only charlotte, but everyone on the island, because the island moved in time.

See this is where the creaters are smart. They say things like 1114 and you automaticaly think the yr 1114. But if you have seen some of the previews, then you would see some of the old Dharma stuff freshly made and in use. So when i hear 1114 Im thinking more 11/14/???? It would seem he left off the yr for a reason :-)

I wonder if this 1114 date meshes with what they said about the series ending just outside the Crab Nebula which was visible on earth over 900 years ago? That's maybe crazy but the only thing I can think of as a connection here. Did something, some life force, escape to earth or come from another dimension when the Crab went supernova?

I think it was meant to be 11/14/???? I think the yr. was left out not to give away rather the island travled to the past or future or just vanished completly. Obvisoly from the slip out previews the island has gone to the past or either someone has some crazy flash back about the days of Dharma.


I see no reason why they would skip 900 yrs unless they want to pull a simuler move from the movie the Time machine where he was knocked unconciants in his machine and found him self 800,000 yrs into the future. when he meant to travel just a couple decades into the future.

Personally I would bet more on 1114 days ago this would roughly be 3 years and some change. This would place them near the time Desmonds boat was to crash on the island. If they can prevent that from happening or stop Desmond from leaving the hatch then he would have never caused 815 to crash.

That actually makes sense cause on the Promo we see Kelvin hold up a Gun to Daniel at the Hatch Doors!

I just woke up and had a notion about Faraday,Charlotte,Miles and Frank. Mattew Abaddon told Naomi that the teams was selected for a specific reason and it could only be this way. Follow this we know that Frank Lapadis was initially supposed to pilot Oceanic 815 meaning he was supposed to be on the plane but we all know what happens to the pilot on the island. Now what if it was his Destiny to be on the island. Charlotte went to a dig in Tunsinia to view the Dharma Polar Bear but what if she to was supposed to have been on flight 815 as well as Miles and Daniel. I would have to admit for the Fate of the show that there arrival on the island was a must but not to early otherwise Lost would have been over in the first two seasons or faster.

Charlotte has a strange connection with the Island and knows about the DI as soon as she sees the Polar Bear. Miles can speak to spirts on the island and would have been able to lead the 815 to safety with no problem and tell all of its secrets. Faraday would be in Geek Heaven and would have figured out the many stations right away.

Good Theory but I don't agree..I think there are two sets of people on totally different Islands...I could be wrong....just something I was thinking about..I may be totally wrong...but like I said it surely will be very interesting to see what really happens. The days are counting down..can't wait..

I belive 3 of these four were sent to the island at the right time before the island moved to save the work of the DI. Abaddon selected these 4 not to save Dr. Chang because they have tried and failed before but this time they selected the ones to save the work.

So would you say that Abadon is working for Widmore in order to restore the DI. If that was the case why would they be on the list, if it were going to hurt the island. But then again why would Abadon tell Locke to go on a walkabout; when Locke is going to save the island. I'm looking forward to more in the Abadon story; because god knows it's confusing. I don't know what side he's working for or his intentions.

No Im not saying he is working for Widmore exactly but more for the DI. Everyone seems to forget a very key point from Changs Video. I belive it to be a reminder that this is not about Widmore or Linus but rather the restoration of the DI. Abaddon is simply using the two to get to and from the island. And when i spoke of the four I refered to Fate and Destiny. For those four there Destiny to be on the at some point but in a twist of Fate they didnt arrive there on 815. So Abaddon placed the four on a team with Naomi so that they could fufill there Destiny. Its very easy to lose touch with the DI with Widmore and Linus battling but the ultimate goal is to save the DI.
