Why has'nt Dharma made any more drops to the island since Desmond turned the key? Is it because they finally found out about the purge and that is why these people have come to the island lookng for Ben?

i dont think they realise ALL those people would be consuming that food - its probably only intended for a smaller group so should last a bit longer - and its not actually been that long since the drop really - cant remember of the top of my head but maybe around 5/6 weeks?

Bunny you are at the top of your games today. Also when Hurley was in charge of the rationing he said The food in the pantry was enough to last only one man 30 days. Add the food drop they found and that would be plenty for Des.

Also, they just have'nt bothered showing it or discussing it. But they have not discussed food or have been seen eating any for quit some time, so they have to be hungry, especially Hurley. Maybe, they have just blown it off due to their believed imminent rescue.

they are eating the same thing ALL the time so eventually your appetite would go and you would just eat when you have to.

also we dont need to see them eat as we are now aware that they ahve supplies - the purpose of seeing them eat fruit and hunt boar and drink water was to show us that they had found ways to eat and stay hydrated otherwise you know what a cynical bunch us viewers can be!

Yah and none of them have hair brushes, razors, or makeup yet the island is full of INSANELY attractive people!!! It really is a magic island :D

i would be in a right state with out some eyeliner and mascara!! i'd stay in my wee tent for about a week and refuse to come out!

I hear that the mud baths at Rose's Cave Salon are to die for! Also try the taro-root paste and Koa Leaf wrap.

In partial seriousness, they did collect a lot from the plane wreckage, including many toiletries. When the Hatch was working they were all taking showers and we saw Jack shaving. There was an old scene of Kate giving Sawyer a trim. Not to mention some of them enjoying the facilities at the barracks.
