My favorite author would be Travis Lord. He hasn't written anything yet, but he'll write the best books ever.

Thanks Travis!
My favorite author is one from the sixties and seventies. His name is Michael Moorcock and he is British. His books are very difficult to find as most are out of print. He wrote very much like the way our little show is being done. Mostly in trilogies, sword and sorcery fantasy, but in the end, the very last book of the 30 something books, it all tied together! All of the characters had interactions with each other in their pasts much like our losties. A great "series" if you want to call it that. Coolest stuff I ever read.

Here's a link if you want to check him out a little to see what I mean:

I'm not being very original here, but for me it has to be Stephen King! I just love him, you always know you're gonna read a good one if you buy his stuff!

I used to read King all the time. Then I started reading Dean Koontz. Have you read him? If you like SK, I'll think you like DK.

Hey TQ... Dean Koontz is as twisted as Stephen King, if not more. Excellent writer.
My favorite author is CS Lewis.
Oh and I like Carl Hiaasen too...

If you're into horror Anne Rice has some great stuff. She can be hit or miss but when she's on she's as good as any.

The first two Vampire books are wonderful. The Witching Hour is one of my favorite. Ghost Story by Peter Straub is super creepy too.

I don't really have a favorite author (that's like trying to pick a favorite person... I like different authors/people for different reasons)
Favorite Book- (I have a few) Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, Illusions by Richard Bach, As A Man Thinketh by James Allen

Oh... and the new book I am reading which actually lead me here... Ain't Nobody's Business If You Do-The Absurdity of Consensual Crimes in Our Free Country by Peter McWilliams
