Obviously its a guy, but who? I think Sawyer right away, but you never know, this show twists all over the place. Especially with that new time travel hatch "The Orchid" its almost not worth trying to figure it out. The only thing I think will be difficult to follow is the flash backs as well as the flash forwards. I'll never know which is which now. Unless Locke shows up with a big white beard or somthing lol.

i think it has to be sawyer i mean if she did have a son then he would olny be a couple of years old when jack called her (the news of him being the "hero" that got evey one off the island was still big news meaning it wasnt long after they got off the island) so i dont think kate would leave her kid like that

it could easily be her child or her boyfriend. i have read spoilers that say they know exactly who it is. it makes more sense to me that it is a child or why would would any1 else be "wondering" where she is, she just would have told them she is going out.

I think it's Sawyer in the coffin and they've had a serious falling out over a betrayal or something equally horrible. I think since Jack mentioned his dad was upstairs (and thus suggesting that his dad was still alive--or that Jack is totally messed up) that the creepy cop who always had the hots for Kate while pursuing her is who also alive and thus the "he" to whom Kate refers. Oh wait...I read somewhere that the pop up menu event said that coffin person was born in NY. We know Sawyer grew up in the South. Was he born there? We also know Ben was born 32 miles outside Portland so the if NY bit of info is true it can't be Ben in the coffin. Did anyone else thing the funeral director's voice sounded like Locke's?
