Jack's missing appendix got me thinkning about all the missing body parts. I know alot of people don't like the episodes of Jack's ailment due to the lack of suspense( we knew he was O6), but maybe "losing" or "lost" body parts are more important than we think. Could it signify some special trait if you've suffered a lost limb? http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Missing_body_parts

One more thing I thought was interesting....While I rewatched the episode where Julliette is "marked", the brand burned into her lower back wasn't on the spine. It was on the left side, possibly over the kidney or appendix area. Anyway, i thought it was all interesting.
