u know whats funny is all last season they were like O6 who will get off the island..?? and in this pick there is actually 7 off the island and 6 on from what this pic shows....u think that means anything or just nothing?

There are things that we don't see too.

I don't see Jin, Claire, Desmond, or Penny.

Also, it looks like Daniel, Miles, and Charlotte will become regulars.

I think they have Des and Ben on the 06 side and they are missing Aaron, who was the sixth in the count. I like it. Two sides to the coin.

Going off that, it's even more interesting that Locke is on the light side wearing a black shirt and lighter colored pants - like he's still torn between sides. We all know of Locke's reluctance to fully believe in the island at times.

I see your point. It doese look that way.

And if you look at it. everyone seemes to be paired up as if they will have something in common. Like for ex. Locke and Charlotte stood out to me dead center not realy by anyone. not next to each other as the rest of the pairs I saw

This is the way I saw the pairs From right to left

1) Sayid and Ben= We pretty much know their story.

2) Jack and Kate= Pretty much a give away

3)This is intresting. A three paired group not like the rest of the couples.
We have Sun,Hurley,and Desmond together. We know that Hurley and Sun became realy good friends after getting off the island. But why would Des be paired with them?

4) Locke and Charlotte= I think will bond as friends threw their involvment with the island.

5) Sawyer and Juliett= We left off with them seeing the freighter get blown up and most likely will be the two strong leaders as the 06"7" return to the island.

6) Dan and Miles. Science with paranormal expert. hmm might be finding out secrets with these two. I think Dan finds out how Miles was connected with Dharma and Miles never knew he was. Just my two cents.

Another thing I saw Which was pretty obvious. The reason the screen splits into two section one being light and the other dark is because the light side is the right choice and where they need to be where the dark side is all that got off and is where they don't need to be.

I noticed the groupings, but, look how Des is kind of back behind Hurley and Sun, like he is by himself. That would make sense because he isn't with the O6, he is with Penny. But, he will need to go back to the island with them.

Also, look how everyone is looking forward except four people:
1. Jack is looking up and off to the left like he is looking toward the future or something
2. Kate is looking at Sawyer like she would rather be with him instead of Jack
3. Sawyer is facing forward, but his eyes are focused toward the Dark side or Kate. Maybe he is thinking that he would have been rescued like they were or maybe he just misses Kate.
4. Miles is also back away from a group and, like Des, is by himself. He is kind of looking at everyone like he can see all of their good and bad karma and he is just keeping his distance.

I think the answer to this is just a simple fact that they couldn't get the child to pose correctly, or didn't want to include him because it's likely he'll be replaced throughout the season. Much like they did with baby Aaron, it's likely 2-year-old Aaron will be played by multiple children who simply look similar. I can't expect them to cast a permanent role for Aaron when the child will grow up a considerable amount while his character is only supposed to age a couple weeks/months.

I dont think we see Penny in any of the promo pics. This leads me to believe that she is not a main character. Which again leads me to believe she gets killed off...... (dun dun duun)

Has she ever really been a main character? I mean, we see her in Desmond's FB, but thats all we ever see of her. She will continue to appear in Des' FB and when Ben is trying to kille rher, but that should be all we see of her.
