I belive the White light we see when Desmond turned the fail safe key and when Ben turned the wheel is not just a result of them travling in time. But as well as a tempral storm changing time it's self. The White light symbolyizes a change in time that orignaly wouldn't have taken place.

The white light, or Purple Sky Event as TPTB call it, is something known in real life science as an ultraviolet light catastrophe. This is dead on. It is the result of a massive expulsion of electromagnetic radiation from a black body or negatively charged exotic matter. You see, if the black body is not kept cold (ice cave) then it will expel great amounts of this EM radiation. It is this EM that holds open a pinhole (as Pierre Cheng referred to it) to a wormhole. So, yes, it does have to do with spacetime travel or as TPTB refer to it, time jumping. I can't say what it may symbolize, I can only analize it scientifically and let you all know what I find out.

Yeah I knew what caused the light and about the science behind it. Iv made plenty of post about it in the past. I was just guessing as to what it symbolyizes.
