Ive been rewatching alot of seasons trying to place some orders of events. Strangley I just had the notion of Desmonds time flashs I know that Faraday was completely suprised of what was happening. But then I think to myself was Widmore???? Did for some reason know what was happening to Desmond?? He without hesitation gave Pennys new address to Desmond even though he disapproved of the two being together and even more that Penny didnt care to see him at the time. Did Widmore know what the future held for Desmond? Widmore broke the rules by murdering Alex were other rules broken?

I think maybe Widmore had to make a course of correction to save Pennys life or to murder Ben if he tried. By giving Desmond Pennys address is what saved his life were there motives behind this? Kinda confusing but work with me on this one.

Interesting. I never thought of that myself. But I figure that, even if Desmond had asked without this whole ordeal about a constant, he might have given Desmond the address anyway because he was tired of trying to seperate the two himself. Perhaps Charles thought Desmond would finally stop bothering his daughter if Desmond found out for himself that she was angry at him.

Possibly but Des did flash back to real time while in the bathroom. I think there is a little more to this story because his time flash put in the auction house with the photo and journal from the Black Rock. I think alot of answers were in Desmonds time flash. Widmore could be using Desmond as a hit man like Ben used Sayid or like Suns dad used Jin. Love will make a man do crazy things even kill for his love.
