View Full Version : How will it all END??? Predictions

Just wondering what you all think will be the final scene/scenes after this whole crazy thing ends, and we can all resume having a "normal" life.

My prediction - I know this sounds completely cliche but the only purpose i see "Adam /Eve" being in season one was to show the writers really do know what they are doing, so it has to be Kate and Jack rite? Wrong!! I think it will be Jin and Sun, or Rose and Bernard. I'm leaning more on Rose/Bernard.
And the final sceen will be an explination of the smoke monster, only because they wont let that little gem go until the last possible second!!!! Basterds!! Thoughts???? Predicitions???? I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I'm a newb.....

i can see that although i hope not. i hope john saves the day and everone can go on with a normal life or rather death. i could see rose/bernard being adam and eve as rose said and bernard agreed they would never leave the island

We won't see anything about Ajira airways the entire season; which will lead to everyone saying "What the hell was Ajira Airways about?"
Then on the final scene we'll see an Ajira plane flying through the sky. They'll pan the passengers which might contain some familiar faces; it will also show an amputee, someone under custody, and an overweight man that had to buy two seats. All of a sudden turbulence hits and the airbags drop down. The camera is on the floor in the aisle and slowly goes up past all the passengers to show Abadon as a flight attendant behind a sandwhich cart at the back of the plane. The camera zooms in and Abadon smiles amidst all the chaos. Then it goes black, and LOST pops up on the screen.
Just a thought.

One thing I can predict for sure is that it will have to do with breaking free from the past. It seems to keep repeating itself in one way or another; bad father figures, people becoming shipwrecked on the island and victims of its natives, Locke's dream about Horace, typing in the #'s ever 108 minutes, Locke himself possibly being a reincarnation.

Fade in to text describing the scene we just watched.... followed by the camera panning up to a smiling Libby in the mental hospital. She is writing down what she daydreams for the Dr. to evalute with her. Pan over to Hurley erasing the numbers off the blackboard franticly. Then pan around the room to reveal that each Lost character is either a patient, orderly, or staff menber of the mental hospital. Big whoosing sound....Lost logo/credits.

..actually that makes sense. Remember whenever Ben woke up in the Desert from time traveling, he got up off the ground? I bet our Losties will end up back at square 1, destined to repeat their fate forever.

I think Ajira Airlines will possibly NOT be our Losties or their equivalents crashing but someone else entirely.....Ben did seem to know exactly what to do when Oceanic 815 crashed, as if he'd done it before? Perhaps Ajira brings some interesting people to the island, ones we take for granted but do not expect?

Ajira means island so I'm thinking it's a vehicle for time travelers and is taking its passengers to another dimension in spacetime on the island. Just like real airplanes travel in loops to and from destinations, if Ajira is more than a distraction, then it will have something to do with getting the O6 back to the island. The Adam and Eve will never be explained as is the case with many other island anomalies. Carlton and Damon have always been so dense about answering with real answers that I think by necessity they will leave many questions open ended. Maybe the end will contain a montage of all of our favorite moments as a way of saying its a never ending loop. Jack on the jungle floor is as good a way as any for it to go. With Ben getting Jack's suit and tie and all ready there on the bed in the D&C's preview clip, it kind of makes me think it will end where it began. I love reading the other ideas though!! And I hope that my limited imagination will be surprised by D&C's very creative ones.

I have always wondered why Jack woke up in the forest while everyone else was freaking out on the beach.

As for Ajira Airlines, TPTB hinted in this weeks DSA that the runway we saw in season 3 will come into play

RE: Ajira Airlines - in the Christmas link above with Damon and Carlton they mentioned about a runway being built on the island - for the plane??

I'd like to think that they could build a landing strip long enough to handle a jet landing but if Ajira is some kind of time sled then maybe that won't be a problem if it just materializes on the runway ---I don't know! But if at the end, Jack is lying among the bamboo, then the jet may have crashed in a similar way to the Oceanic 815. Boggles the mind, huh!?!

My guess is that the final scene will reveal that it has all been a game. We've all heard of Dungeons and Dragons, well instead they are playing "Lost and Found". We will see a bunch of kids sitting around a living room somewhere playing the game and their names will be Jack, Kate, Sawyer, ect...

As in Monopoly, when you are out of money, you are out of the game. Thats why so many people have been killed off or simply ran out of money.

Think about the twists and turns that the show takes. Who, but a child, would have that kind of imagination.

I think Adjira airlines has to do with certain characters we already know like Eko, Bea Klugh, Abaddon and it will bring in new characters. Adjira is in Togo, Africa. It is two doors down from Nigeria where Eko was from. I've already said that the head wrap that Bea Klugh wears is very similar to those worn by the women in Nigeria and have found that it is also similar to those from Togo. I think that Adjira will link a few characters and answer some questions. Of course, there will be new ones as usual! LOL!
As for the ending of the show...well, it will end in a big flurish of KA-BOOM!!!! In the end, the island will be destroyed. That will be the only way to destroy the time loop. I don't believe it will be volcanic in nature like TPTB say. I think they are using that as a metaphor. They so love to twist the English language around to their advantage! I think we will find out that this whole thing has been an experiment by an alien force or even our own future humans to perpetuate the race. They are dying off wherever they came from through that wormhole...Crab Nebula area. We will find out that our losties are the result of these experiments and that was why their lives have crossed paths over time and why they ended up on the island. Of course, we will find out Ben is not human as he steps into his getaway vehicle (spaceship/time sled) and maybe I'll through Locke into that catagory too! LOL!!!
It will play out very much like the Marvel Comics blueprint that Beach found.

That's what I thought too. With things like changing the rules, turning the wheel and you are out and stuff like that.

Good for you NOTSOLOST for doing all that research. Here is the thing tho. The writers are very specific with things. This is not the first time you have posted this. If they were referring to aDjira the airlines would be ADJIRA airlines. BUT the word if AJIRA, no D. Ajira HAS a specific meaning that they wanted to use. I think they are using Ajira because the plane(s) will be meant to take off/land on the island.

I could swear it had a "D" in it, but I guess I'm wrong. Not the first nor the last, for sure! LOL! You are absolutely right though, when you say that TPTB have specific meanings for everything. And, they lie! Big time! Once upon a time they said there was no time travel on the show too! What a laugh.
I was just thinking that the airline Ajira would have come from Togo since it has a city by the same name and since it's so close to Nigeria that it might tie in Eko, et al. I've always had strong feelings that Bea Klugh was from Eko's village or area and that she was Susan Lloyd's mother, aka Walt's grammy. I'm gonna check Ajira with the correct spelling to see if I can find anything now.

I think ending the show with Jack waking up again is a good idea. But I also think the Characters are more linked to each other than they know! The amount of times they have crossed paths with each other is NOT a coincidence!

I think it is a general assumption among all of us that Jack is gonna wake up in the bamboo again. I have said this before but it just seems very strange WHERE Jack woke up in the first place. Have you, he could have unconsciously wandered into the bamboo, but he woke up relatively far from the crash itself.

i think your right that it will end with jack but he wont be waking up, he'll be coming out of a house because a loud noise will have startled him. the loud noise being the Ajira 747 crashing down on the island just as 815 had and just as ben had seen it....

and a bit irrelevant but i think the black rock was shipwrecked on the island when the island was moved some other time in its past, maybe by widmore. sorry my thoughts are easier to understand than my writing

it is possible that jack fell from the plane and landed in the bamboo but what i find much more interesting is the fact that vincent was there. first of all, how the hell does a dog survive that crash, he didnt have any injuries and he didnt even appear dirty, and how did he get there? he was running from the opposite direction of the crash. i think there is more to vincent than meets the eye. i think the series will definitly end with him and jack just as it began. and i think there is a tie in with vincent and walt ( walt being special and mayb vincent being very unique)

well if you watched missing pieces you will find that Vincent was coming from a "meeting" with Christian, telling him to wake up Jack cuz he has work to do

here are my thoughts on the ending. it just came to me. i thought to myself, what would JJ do? well, what we know of him he is a huge sci-fi buff, right? and his visions and ideas are big. more than likely, bigger than most people. when i think of ideas for stories, its never about a relationship or a bank robbery or a murder, its always about everything we know and care for hanging in the balance. so here is what i think. the plane never crashed. they were never on the plane, they were abducted by aliens. before you roll your eyes, read on. the aliens choose to abduct these people to try and understand the human race. everything we see in the show is made up by this alien race to test our heroes to see the end result, to decide if the human race deserves to continue on or not.

All those endings would annoy and frustrate me to be honest, especially the jack waking up one. that would leave so many more questions and would not actually be a proper ending. it won't happen anyway, i reckon it's miles off.
The ''game'' one would be pathetic and would be a total anti climax.

Unfortunately, TPTB lie alot! They also said there was no time travel involved. So....now they are talking about time jumping. A matter of symantics I guess. To jump and not to travel...hmmm.
All in all, they play games with the fans.

Not really aliens...more aliens in the way we could also de evolved from aliens (the seed meteor theory)....the four toed statute...didn't someone, somewhere mention supposed Atlantean statues having 4 toes? I think it was some sci-fi thing or another?

Maybe there will be links to Atlantis or the survivors of Atlantis?

Monkey, if you're around here, to answer your confused face, TPTB said that the end they have planned is NOT one the viewers will like very much - meaning that there will be lives lost and very few of our LOSTIES will have a storybook ending. They jested that they might have to run off to a far away place (France) to escape the irate fans.
I'm gonna be ONE OF 'EM!
