Why did Miles cry?

In episode 4.02 where Daniel sat in front of his TV and watched the news about 815 beeing found, he started crying or at least was really upset.
Did anyone ever answer why he did this???

That was Daniel Faraday. I think he had a vague, fleeting memory of everything that was about to happen to him on the island when he saw the plane. You know, like what Des experienced when he was shot back to his apartment with Penny and he heard that mircowave beep like the countdown computer did. So, I think he was overwhelmed with emotions.
What I want to know is who was that woman caretaker of his? We did not see her face and her voice is very familiar to me now.

Yeah, I do believe that TPTB had mentioned she was his caretaker. My memory has been a bit foggy lately though, from all this time jumping, so I could be mistaken! LOL!

Seemed like a caretaker to me, too. He looked so feeble in that chair and so weak. A pretty sad Daniel, IMO.

Yeah, I think Daniel is really suffering from his time travel experiments. I think his consciousness is making his conscious mind confused. That must be his real problem, not just the "wacky physicist". He did seem to be slightly in shock when he watched on tv. I guess I would be also, knowing that some really bad things are gonna happen to me....again....and again....and again! LOL!

I would guess so, too. I wonder how many times he has gone through it and how many more times he has to go through it before he goes totally wacky and then that would completely change everything...no Daniel? He's a major part of the equation of this time loop business. It would all be so different without him....

Maybe from all the dozen times he did this something "swapped" over on him too. Sending his conciousness into the future. Every time a little bit more. :confused:
