It's almost here!!

It's good to see the Season 5 category finally get added. It just adds to the anticipation for the new season.

Things I'd like to see or think will be revealed in the first two episodes:

- they will set up the entire season 5 theme in the first two hours, thats a no brainer.
- Maybe a hold over main character from the end of S4 will be killed. Maybe one of the others or Charlotte or Miles or Farraday
- We will see a major change in one or more of the characters. I'm thinking one of the O6 will be out of character from what we have seen from them to date. Maybe Sun?
- Sawyer will become the new leader of the Losties that are left behind.

Just some thoughts.

Well, not for nothing but a few no brainers here!

TPTB have said that in season 4 we knew who the 06 were and so we knew that they would not be killed on the island. In other words, Jack would survive his weird appendectomy, etc. BUT, in season 5 we don't know after the furthest year out who dies. So, we still could lose an 06'er in the future. Those gun fights with Sayid and Hurley look awfully interesting...
We have already seen a major change in one of the characters...Sun. After Jin's death her darkside comes out. We had been introduced to it long ago in her childhood when she had the housekeeper fired for breaking the glass balerina when in fact, she did it herself. Sun will become very dark to avenge Jin's death. We already have a pretty good idea that she partners with Charles Widmore. There is a very good reason. And by the way, Jack is not the second person responsible for Jin's death in her mind. It is Ben. Ben and her father are the two people she holds accountable for Jin. There's her reason to partner with Widmore. One last interesting tid bit about Widmore. When he met up with Sun in London he mentioned that Mr. Paik was a very good golfer and they had played together before...it made me think of Sayid on the golf corse when he shot what's his name. The list....Widmore is definitely on The List....
As for Sawyer, he's tried to become the leader in the past when he stole all of the guns. Yeah, that worked out well for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the leadership role on the island and Juliet is his love interest. He is getting to the bottom of the barrel here! Jack is gone so Juliet has no one and it's either gonna be Juliet or Charlotte and I just don't think Charlotte is his type. Besides, Charlotte and Daniel seem to have a thing going on.

I don't see Sawyer as much of a leader. He's there for the brawn, yes, but he's also been pretty much in the dark about the mysteries of the island et al.

I was really hoping Sun wouldn't defect. Will she bring Ji Yeon back with her?
And will she turn once again when she finds Jin alive and dried out on the island?

I think Ben has every intention of returning to the island with the O6, although I can't bet on it. Besides, I think he's after Penny. That'll be interesting if Des goes back without her.

Yes, Sawyer is in charge of who's left of the losties. His personna has matured quite a bit over the course of time on the island. He has gone from a selfish con artist who only looks out for number one to a selfless and strong leader in the making. He jumped out of the choper to let everyone else be saved. He likes being the big fish in the little pond. It's more his style and in his comfort zone. He will take the lead in the fight against the onslaught coming against the island again. Don't forget, Keamy's guys that were already on the island when it moved are still on the island. Now they are really confused, too! And p-o'ed
Sun goes back without Ji Yeon. She doesn't need the baby as one of the 06 that MUST return, per Ben.
Jin is dead. Sun is going back to in an effort to get Ben. That is her motive. She knows Jin is dead. And sadly, Jin is dead.
Ben is of course going back. That's why he is manipulating the 06 because they are his ticket to get back. He knows the "island" wants them back and he will follow in their shadows to return.
Des is going back without Pen. She was never on the island and will not be on the island. Besides, she just had a baby (in the future) and can't go. I think that Pen is really on the list that Ben gave to Sayid to kill. Charles had his Keamy and Ben has his Sayid. Dirty deeds.
And finally, Kate will return with Aaron. Aaron is the heir apparent of the island. You'll see. It's the Shephard bloodline.

Sawyer wil most definatley emerge as the leader of the island group. I don't think Jin is alive, however, it is not apparent that he did blow up he was running toward the end of the freighter when the cabin exploded and could have jumped off. The thing is Jin's storyline seems to have run it's course, he went from a loving husband to a resentful bastard back to a loving husband who just wanted Sun to get off the island, not much left for him. It is getting really close. I went to tvguide.com and went to the tv listings, it goes as far as two weeks ahead and there it was LOST I got really excited to actually see it.

The new island grp leader will be Richard or Mikhail or some other island-e or who knows... could be Jacob himself manifested as Christian or it could be Claire.. we g2 wait 2 weeks 2 see though :<
