Jin is alive it is revealed in season 5!

The DSA had Jin as dead on there picture wall not as living or undead. She will go back because she has hope that Jin will be there.

The script has set this up too slowly instead of the island hero, Jack is now a pill popping alchy thats attempted suicide atleast one time that we have seen. His condition is similar to Micheals condition. Jack promised to save everyone but was only able to save 5 now the guilt weight is setting in. Mike got off the island and felt the same weight for shooting Ana and Libby and we saw how that played out. Micheal became a puppet for Ben, funny we now see Jack making moves for Ben as season 5 is ready to go.

All well and true and Ben is the Master Manipulater but in Sun's mind and as a matter of actual fact, it was Ben that blew up the freighter and killed Jin. Ben actually killed him by killing Keamy when he knew full well that by doing so he would kill everyone onboard the freighter. I am sure Jeremy Bentham told her that. After all, he was there at the time. Remeber what Ben said when Locke told him he would kill everyone on the freighter after he jumped Keamy and slit his carotid artery if they let him die? Ben very coldly replied, "So?"
Ben is the motivation for Sun to go back. She wants him dead now just like Widmore. What a team! This is getting interesting!

Or perhaps she is blaming Whidmore and is setting him up. Because lets face it. It was Whidmore who hired Keamy and keamy is the one who planted the explosives. I thought I read somewhere that Paik and Whidmore industries have ties. So perhaps she was giving us a clue when she said that she blames her father and another person. Perhaps she spoke to Locke after he left the Island and told her that Whidmore was the reason why everything went bad and the real cause of the death of her husband. And maybe, I know I am stetching it a bit but she is also working for Ben and is trying to find Penelope so Ben can kill her. I know its a stretch of the imagination but hey this is Lost I also thought I read somewhere that Sun and Hurley are huge parts to the story of Lost. We shall see how this all plays out ove the last 32 episodes. I cant wait

I do believe you are right. However, not sure that will be revealed in Season 5 completely. I believe that the timespace travel will allow as many characters to come back as the writers desire without much limit. Nice write in, since it leaves all the options open and will keep you guessing who they choose to come back. I believe, going along with the theme of "the island won't let you...", characters will come back based on their dharmic and karmic roles in the scheme of things. For instance, Michael fulfilled his karma and was allowed to physically die in Season 4 and I doubt he will be brought back as in being still presently alive. However, the character may come back if there is (what I suspect) time travel involved. It is all a huge but incredible guessing game, the way the writers set it up. That's why I love watching it. Just when you have it figured out the writers prompt you to say, "But wait... there's more." There are so many variables involved that pretty much ANYTHING is possible. So, the question is... does Jin have any kharma or dharma to carry out? We know Sun does... which makes me also believe she goes back to seek revenge for Jin's supposed death.
