The original losties

I'm really interested in finding out what happened to the original losties that got captured from the beach in season 1. I remember in season 3 we saw them working with Ben's others and one of the women (can't remember her name) talked to Jack while he was in the polar bear cage. She seemed so calm and cool when she was talking with him. Why? Now that we know a little about time travel...Miles telling us that Charolette had been there before...she telling Daniel that she was still looking for where she was born...and obviously Richard has been bouncing around for awhile...is it possible that that same woman taken in the first season knew she was going to be taken and was expecting to reunite with Ben and the others?

Remember when Anna Lucia asked Goodwin why he thought they took some of the people? Goodwin said that the first nights they attacked the largest and strongest, like Eko. Imagine if they took the biggest and strongest to join Richards little tactical group that we saw. Eko was meant to go that first night, and we all know about Eko's connection to the island. Maybe the people that were taken have similar connections like Eko's (and everybody else on the island). I'm sure that Eko would have fit right into Richards group.

Her name is Cindy, she was supposedly one of the Flight 815 stewardesses, and she and the ones who were taken from the beach where the tailie section was, that we all saw in S-2, not S-1. But the general question that you're asking is a good one... Now after the finish of 4 Seasons, how do they fit into the storyline? Better yet, what about Jacob's list, not necessarily who was on the list but what was the significance of that list of people?

I guess those like Cindy just came to understand their situation better and decided it was ok to be with the Others. As the story proggressed, we've learned about what motivates the Others and Ben and begin to side with them, as well(though anything can change within the next two seasons...).
