View Full Version : How serious a paradox would it create?

Remember that Minkowski died because his consciousness couldn't get back to Dec. 2004. We can assume, however, that he didn't die at the other time that he was consciousness traveling to in the past. Could it at all be possible that during a consciousness travelling episode, someone would be in the present and not being able to get back to the past? It would create a paradox, obviously,... dead in the past but alive in the present.
But I ask, if the situation were reversed, if the initial CT happened in the past, and the individual's consciousness from the past traveled to the future (because the person had first time-traveled to the past, so the future/present had already been established) then wouldn't it be possible, the reverse of Minkowski and Desmond, that the consciousness of the individual, who is now in the past, might travel back to the future and not be able to return to the past?

I'm thinking, Jeremy Bentham.

Do you have a headache after reading that?

I think it may only be able to happen one way. Either that or course correction stops it from happening.
