the first miracle to occur on the island was the resurrection of jacks father, watch the missing pieces scene "the watch" jacks dad tells the dog to go and find his son , he tells the dogs he is lying down on the ground in the forest or something" and the next scene is the first scene of the show where jack wakes up and the dog comes up to him. thats why he could not find his dads body when he opens the coffin, hey its not so far fetched since a paraplegic can now walk . and other similar miracles seems to happen on this island, now i couldnt even begin to imagine where is his father hiding or living during all this time.

I don't believe Jack's Father is alive. My theory is Jacob is the Black smoke and he can use bodies when he wants to be in the form of human. He minuplates what he wants by useing those peoples bodies. Several Dead people along with Walt have been seen and heard from. I think Jacob will use Jack and Claires Dad's body to connect that they are Half-siblings. I'm not sure how he tales the form of Walt, maybe Walt has special powers that allows Jacob to take his body.

I Dont Think Jacob Is The Black Smoke Or The Dead People On The Island, I Think Jacks Dad Is Alive But Hes Not On The Island, I Think The Island Can Take The Form Of Any Person Or Only A Person From Peoples Pasts. The Black Smoke Could Be The Island Takeing Form Aswel, If So It Could Be Its True Form, But What About The Time Lock Seen The Smoke For The First Time, Waz That The Smoke Or Its Twin???????????

Ok, so I do indeed agree with you. Here's why: Everyone's physical body in some why, shape or form is altered because of the Island. Maybe not seen by the naked eye, but in some way everyone has physically changed for better or worse. A few examples of that are Locke of course is no longer paralyzed, Rose no longer has cancer, Sun can now become pregnant, Charlie isn't an addict anymore, Sawyer's eyesight is worse, Walt can obviously use his mind to make things happen etc... Now if everyone else's body seems to have been altered, what would happen to an already deceased humans body? I would presume it too would become altered. So, if it is Jack's father in Jacobs cabin & rocking chair in one of the more recent episodes, then who is to say he wasn't brought back from the dead or at least awakened somehow? That would at least explain why his body has yet to be discovered and why Jack seems to hear his father's voice more than any other past/present "voices/whispers".

could that also have something to do with why jack heard his dads voice through that intercom thing that was in that room that ben and the others kept jack in?

i think christian is dead in the physical sense of the word - which is the same way i feel about charlie. doesnt mean there is not a lost soul (or 2) wandering about out there

I really do think so. I personally feel that everyone and I mean EVERYONE has physically changed. And I think anyone who leaves the Island changes as well.
