So, apparently one of the Oceanic 815 characters is to die in the first 2 hours of S-5. What is you're prediction as to who it will be?

Well..... People either know and thus are staying away from commenting or voting, . . or people think that the thread itself is essentially a spoiler, so they are boycotting the thread on principle... haha.

Really, I don't know who it's to be.
Supposedly John is to die, but there's been clues to suggest that we won't discover exactly what happens to him until I think sometime around episode 6.
And then there's Jin, who they might have decided to show confirmation very early in S-5 that he survived the explosion but died soon after.
And then there's Claire, who many have been speculating about as to what happened to her that she ended up in the cabin with Christian.

And then there's Sayid... damn it better not be him... for whom all the promo scenes we've seen may actually take place in the first 2 hours of S-5, before he gets killed. Again, it better not be!

If I were to make a wild guess, it might be Rose. Perhaps we'll discover that she has some connection to Abaddon.

I think it might be Jin because he has proved his love for Sun and has forgiven her and maybe like Eko, his issues have been resolved? A sort of Greater Love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend/lover?

Cindy is the Stewardess (sorry about my spelling) who was in the tail section and got taken by the others wen they were walking back 2 the beach. :)

I haven't thought about it before but I guess Sayid is a possibility...I hope it's Charlotte, though. I think Penny has a chance of dieing, too, but I don't know when. As for Claire, I think she either already died or we won't find out till next season.

Charlotte was not a passenger on Oceanic 815, and it is supposed to be someone from 815.

Yes, that is the teaser that I have from BuddyTV which has sent out 10 "hints" of what will be seen in the first 2 hours of S-5.

Are those our only choices? Well, much as we like them, Rose and Bernard are not "important" characters, Cindy isn't known enough to matter that much, Jin IS alive, Claire...well, nothing surprises us about her at this point...

Well no, they aren't the only choices...
There's Jack, Kate, Sun, Hurley, Sawyer, Walt, the two kids that were taken by the Others, and a bunch of nameless 815 passengers who are still alive.

So, if you think any one of them is likely, then post the vote. I didn't consider any of them because I think it's extremeeeely unlikely.

As for John (and Michael), one would think that we've already seen them dead or be killed. And also, apparently episode 6, "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham", is going to show us about John's death.
