For all of yall who think just because Miles was in a african americans house witch ya was in America, doesnt mean it was Eckos or his Bros house are anyone related to them in any way. Im sorry but im gettin sick of people thinkin that just because the kid on the pictures on the wall was black hes gotta have something to do with Ecko. That whole ghostbusters scene was purley a character building scene. It was showing us all about Miles and how he acts and what he does. And for all of yall that already know this im sorry for making this thread because its a no brainer. Mr Ecko or his bro have nothing to do with that scene or Miles. Unless Miles knew one of them back in the day and we havnt scene that flashback yet if it exists and I doubt it does. Thank you....

No I agree with you BUT in everyone else's defense, this show is famous for connecting everyone in some way so I wouldn't be surprised one bit if that was Eko or his brother. Especially when they showed possible drugs involved which we know Eko and Yemi were involved in. I'm just saying everyone's theories are just that...theories. I think its way to early to cancel things out.

BD, I agree with you. It was primarily set to establish some background on Miles. However, we know the writers love to create obscure links between the characters. So there is some link to someone, but who? Was Jack a surgeon for someone in the house? Did the grandkid have a job at Hurley's fast food place? Did Grandma do some missionary work and take pictures of a young Eko or his brother? Was Locke a Scoutmaster to the grandkid? Did Ana Lucia arrest him? This is were the show can blow your mind!

The shots of the picture frame changing is probably more important than the picture itself. Some are speculating that is shows that Miles can shift time or affect reality. Of course, it could also be explained that while Miles cleansed the room, Grandma kept herself busy by rearranging the photos on the stairwell.

Yes. Remember that their was some flyer on the wall behind Grandma about photo restoration. Given that the grandkid died, she was working on redoing the photo wall. I noticed that many pictures changed and not just the one they focused on. Also, when Miles came downstairs, the photos seemed to be of the same kid/person rather than on the way up. So she may have just been creating the memorial.

Hehe I found out why the painting of the dog was kind of significant...(this is cute) apparently since Lost began, the set director has brought his dog on set when he comes and its become kind of the "Lost pet" so to speak. Well he says in an interview that the painting in Jacob's cabin is actually that dog! Anyway just thought it was cute they threw that in there, prob to see if we would come up with some crazy theories surrounding the dog. He also said his dog was in Eko's flashback, the dog that was running around the yard when Eko was a kid. :)

i dont think that dust devil(or whatever it is) has anything to do with magnatism or anything, its just a prop for miles. makes his ghostbustin' look authentic to his clients. he may actually have a gift, he's just seekin' spirits from dead druggies/pushers for the money. pictures were shown to just to add more confusion, lol, or whatever. just an opinion

Good point Hard. He did make quit a show of putting his Ghostbusting vacuum together in front of her, rather than in the room. He still uses it though, but maybe to create noise to mask what he is doing.

He talked to him as if he knew him and how did he know to ask where the money was in the wall??? He talked to him as if he already knew to ask him that.
