It's clear that the island has moved back in time, Yemi's plane just crashed, and all the tents and stuff our losties built have gone. This means that Dharma might be still on the island, and that The Pearl hasn't imploded.

But if thats the case then say in 40 years (or however far back they went it) when 815 crashes again, they'll 'meet up' with themselves?

Remember when they first found Yemi's plane and there were the mens bodies before they reached the plane. Wonder if some of them survived, and when John went to the plane got into a battle with him. I doubt drug dealers would be to easy to deal with after a plane crash.

I wonder if maybe Yemi is still alive for that matter. What if John was able to talk to Yemi before he died? That would be pretty interesting. And would explain why John could have Yemi and the location of the plane in his subconcious for his dream back in season 2.

Monkey is right, they are going to the Swan. Faraday needs to find everyone a constant, and the only three people that know of the statue currently aren't on the island.

If the giant foot is a "constant" landmark that grounds the moveable island to/for something or someone, then might be a good reason for it being there--whether or not we ever find out who put it there!

Agree. It sounds as if they have travelled back in time. The fact that the tents have left and Daniel wants to see something that was man made and already on the island that would suggest that they have gone back in time to before the Oceanic 815 crash. If true, and the Swan Station is there then that would mean that Rousseau would still be alive. Either way the possibilities and ramifications of this time shift are very interesting!
